If someone doesn't make it disappear off here and stop its negative disgusting posts, I'm out until it happens. @walkonby, gentle soul, ignore that little person, or pity it's sad tiny life. We all know who it is and everyone should put it on ignore and please stop encouraging it's posts by replying to them!
I'm out for now.

I have raccoons under my deck and I was told that it was inhumane/against the law to relocate them outside of your yard due to territorial issues. Please call your humane society and ask if they can pick up the babies. Raccoons are very destructive if you try to separate the mother from the babies as I found out when they lived in my roof. People make mistakes, no need to criticize on this forum. Let us know if the babies get picked up ok?

@SassyAshley The only companies or organizations that remove raccoons cost money.
eg: The cost for the removal of one to three raccoons with a one-year guarantee they won’t come back is about $375.
Removal of parents and a large litter can cost $1,000 or more.
So....as soon as someone donates us the money we will pay for that service. As I said we did what we thought was the right thing to do. Our neighbour was terrified and could not walk up her walkway on 2 occasions because the adult raccoon was on her porch.
So my DH was trying to be neighbourly and very humanely caught the animal in a cage, and released it elsewhere.
@barbis9 The Humane Society will not do anything raccoon related, period. I phoned them this morning to ask.
The babies have left it seems as we no longer hear them.

Today I was home and I think every neighbour was too as all day long I could hear lawnmowers, weed whackers and hedge trimmers......maybe the weekend will be quiet?

still hate my neighbors - the building 'talked' them and they said they will keep it quiet and no legal matters. Just sent them an email with a video clip saying they lied and they still keep playing loud music. Middle aged drug addicts that never leave their place of course they would lie and I want to pursue legal matters as it prevents me from enjoying my bedroom.
I hate people sometimes...

sorry to hear about the neighbours
build a case by recording the dates and times for proof
when they are quiet, time for you to vaccuum and blend stuff etc
written reports to the landlord with the dates and times
no more communication with that neighbour since they are not cooperative

I would visit your local police station as when I had loud noisy neighbours the by-law dept told me to call the police. Apparently if you call enough times, the police will fine them. Also the drug aspect would be of police interest. Just say you suspect drugs. But visit the station instead of having a police cruiser at your door. Worth a try and it won't cost you money.
