    Tonight will be Steak, Sauteed Mushrooms & Onion, Roasted Potatoes or Homemade Wedges and probably another veggie. Sunday is my clean out the fridge day so we will see what we need to use up. Also have to decide if we are cooking inside or on the BBQ.

    ..rather than cooking an entire turkey, I picked up a package of turkey thighs for like $5.00+, I have those in the oven now and will shred to make hot turkey, mashed potatoes, corn, carrots, stove top & lots of gravy...

    Mom has to get her car serviced across the street from Freshco so he plan is to go and buy a whole chicken to cook on the BBQ. Let's hope they have some, this location is notorious for "never getting" the meat that is on sale. As for side, no idea up to Mom.

    Apparently I still have 2 turkeys in my mom's freezer she just informed me so that is the plan in September and then in October

    After a rainy weekend we are back to the sun! We are grilling burgers,a mix of lean beef and pork with homemade bbq sauce. A gluten free pasta salad and grilled peppers,mushrooms and zucchini.
