Good morning!

Yes, it is a better day. Sleep wasn't good, though.

The district nurse supervisor called this morning to check up on me, which was nice.
So sickie-wise, I am okay.

Occupational therapist is coming at 10:30, physiotherapist at 11.
Seems like everyone wants to check in before the holidays, which is good.
Nurses and a Dr are available over the holidays, though, if needed.

Wow !! Only been in house half hour now ..long enough make a quick sandwich 🥪 had lots plans at home for tonight..just got call from fire dept gang ..asking if i could come to fire hall do up Christmas loots bags for kids for Saturday after our parade..so santa can give all boys and girls their Christmas loot bag ..will sooo much for doing things i had plan do tonight ..will hope everyone as wonderful night ..wow!! Its soooo cold out side tonight and i rather stay home ..but duty calls on me again ..take care all

I'm sure you've heard the expression: "If you want something done, ask a busy person."...that would be you. How wonderful that so many people count of your support, that's something special, @Newfiescreech . And I also bet that they have a much "funner" time with you there, too!!

Freezing rain due overnight. P2 and lilP aren't sure if missing school tomorrow is worth it since they would be getting a day of school-work in return for a day of slacking. Tomorrow is supposed to be Jour du chic and lots of party in lessons.

Darth, bad freezing rain here, too. Unfortunately for kids, schools don't close for something like that.

So, the bed didn't come in today.
Son was off work for the aft and he came for a visit, had a nap here, then when husband got off work we had supper and more talking. He will be back tomorrow.
I worry about him driving on the highways so much - one is a major one, so there is a chance sand/salt trucks would be out - but the other half is on a secondary.

Hi lynn ..yes ..and they know i wont let them down ..I’ll always change my plans around and help them out in anyway i can ..ole reliable they keep saying ..yes !! We got Christmas loot bags done now for Saturday..only got home 15 minutes ago.. now its time to take few minutes to relax and get ready for bed ..early rise in AM again ..how’s everything going with you sweetie..guess your already for Christmas now ..i’m Slowly getting there ..tree is up and decorated.. gifts all wrapped..trying make few more kinds cookies ..seems time is running out Christmas only few days and Saturday going be busy spend my day at fire hall and serving food and helping santa hand out Christmas bags to kids take good care yourself sweetie

Good morning!!

Up early again, wide awake, ready to start the day!! Now...this is likely to change come January, but for now, as my Hubby has come to realize, it's an exciting time of year for me...yes, I'm 6 years old again pre-Christmas!!

@Newfiescreech , you're so fortunate to be part of such a beautiful, caring community. I hope you can catch your breath sometime around January 1st. Yes, everything is done here, but of course I'm still straining on my leash to get out there. My late BFF and I loved going out right into the 24th just to poke around, snag deals on next year's wrapping papers....Oh how I miss Target's after-Christmas sales! No other stores reduced Christmas papers, tags, ribbons by 90%!

oh my!! Here I though I might be the only one awake to respond to @GoJays early morning pics. Isn't it kinda fun being awake this early @Lynn49 ? I always get more done in the wee early hours than throughout the rest of the day. Well.....I mean minus the time I spend sitting here chuckling at pics.

TGIF everybody! Those dishes have soaked long enough, time for me to wash them up.
