Hello, folks!

My friend spent the afternoon here and did a lot of packing. She helped me to dis-assemble the bed and move boxes around so that windows can be replaced if they get around to it. It is SO dusty in that room! She packed up my arts and crafts things, too.

I have to continue to re-organize and clean the bathroom and the rest of the kitchen. No rest for the wicked.

Well, I am just so tired. No nap.
Had physio, didn't do well for several reasons, but I made stands and took some steps. I still count that as a win.
Waiting for night nurse to take vitals, then my son is coming for a visit later. I thimk he will end up tucking me into bed early!

I was just reading an article which said that if you are 20 or younger, you will never have experienced the temperatures we are going to see in the next few days.


And you shouldn't talk outside, because you can freeze your lungs. Scary!

I have left a tap dripping and kept the temp. up.

I am still praying for you to get better quickly. Well good morning Folks!
We managed to dig ourselves out yesterday

Our area wasn't hit nearly as bad as the Toronto, or anywhere along the lake, but we still took a work from home day. Thanks for the thought yesterday @GoJays . There was no way we were going to put ourselves through dealing with the 401 and stupid drivers.
Good thing too...that accident with the tractor trailer hauling hazardous materials looked BAD!

Cooper has in heaven playing out in the snow yesterday while I was out shoveling, snow blowing, and plowing.
@Lynn49 , really hope Jenny is doing well.
@cabmonk , and @Natalka , glad to hear you're both doing better as well.
@avoncallingu , hopefully Tootie is managing alright with all this snow!
@flemeth , hopefully you didn't have to head out at all yesterday.

good morning early morning crew!!
I don't HAVE to go out but I want to just for a couple of errands. My plan is to let the vehicle warm up nice and toasty then the trip will be a little better. Plus the earlier I get there, no crowds!
o.k. I'll be honest here.
If I DON't go somewhere for the first chunk of the morning I will be tempted to sit. I've made a commitment to stop being so sedentary yet most things I want to engage in involve parking my butt in my recliner!

Sneaking in to say, "Good Morning, folks!"

My cousin from England posted a picture from around where they live. Piles of snow there, too, and they just aren't prepared for it.

My friend has invited Tootie and I over for supper so that we can vacate while the prospective renters come through. I am blessed with kind friends!

It's -22 and the high for the day will be -19. Come on, sun, try a little harder, won't you!

I don't know whether busses are running to schools or not today.

I do know that it will be indoor recesses until the temperatures get warmer.
