It took me a bit of time BUT my inspirational gym bag tote is complete!
I re-purposed the denim stretchy fabric from a huge pair of pants which I bought and then never wore ( probably out of pure disgust for letting myself gain that much weight! )
The pattern I have had for over 40 years! ha ha ( A McCall's one I bought as a young 20 something when I made my first tote bag )
Anyhow, my chiropractor inspired me one day when he said " Movement Is Medicine " and I must say he is correct! Each day upon waking when my back is so sore I fight through the first few moments of complete immobility, then get down to doing a few stretches and then I am off to my physio class.
Amazingly afterwards my back is no longer sore?

@walkonby
Beautifully done and so awesome!
I adore the idea of being able to switch out the pic.
I have dozens of completed cross-stitched and embroidered pieces that I can't afford to or don't want to frame, they are just put away! I would like to do something with them.
For me, though, the therapy was in the stitching.Last edited by Natalka; Sun, Feb 3rd, 2019 at 12:49 PM.

I am so impressed with all your talent! @Natalka - I came across two little bags that I had embroidered years ago for the children of a friend. Those children probably have children of their own by now . It's a Conundrum because I also embroidered their names on it. It would ruin it to pick it out. They just keep getting put back in a box- problem to be solved later. 😊

@saundyl - hoping all does go well for you!
I have done this in the past - some good experiences, some disappointing. Always met wonderful people, though.
Good luck to you!
