Morning gang.
That's all I've got.I can't profess to understand God's plan. Christ promised the resurrection of the dead. I just thought he had something a little different in mind.

Morning everyone
Thanks to everyone for the smiles and laugh.
Trying to keep myself busy was in the kitchen making snacks for our nightly movie nights that we do now as a family. Since there is no games to watch. My DH is still working. Will soon head out for a walk since the rain stop.
Hope everyone are being safe . Have a great Tuesday all

o.k. at least John Prine's condition went from critical to improved, so small blessings there.
Another humour video because I cannot do anything else.

Hi everyone Just checking in. Snowy and grey here today, but the sweet little chickadees are at the birdfeeder. Simple pleasures.
Unique items and great deals to be found on the Halifax Cat Rescue Society auction page.

Hey, everyone!
Guess I neglected to stop by yesterday - I will come on the site, read a bit, and think I will stop by 'later'.
This city is really shut down. My son had planned to go buy some clothes yesterday, but the store closed this week - he is peeved because there is only one decent store which has big and tall sizes.
He came by yesterday after work, because he found himself close by. I was in the kitchen, he came in the front door, so he was very far away. However, I could NOT resist, so had him come for a hug - I just had to. He stayed for supper, but we were in separate rooms.
At his work there may be layoffs coming, hopefully they will know next week.
Things for me are pretty much the same, but easier because my husband is home - not that I overwork him, sometimes it's just nice to know he is here.
I lost just over four pounds this past week - but, yet I got addicted to cheese puffs!
We had freezing rain overnight, then a bit more snow this morning, so glad we don't have to drive anywhere. Husband has a phone appointment with his doc in late afternoon - he has some questions about meds which were changed.
Hoping everyone stays warm, happy, and well!

Hi @Natalka I am a combination of squares #'s 2, 4 and 5...well really it changes every day, by the end of the week I could be all of them! ha ha
Oh I know we are not supposed to hug our kids but gosh darn it this is so very hard!
The 2 here, np...I can stay away from BUT our DS living on his own I am aching to see him and squeeze the heck out of him.
If your DS does get laid off he can get EI right?
You stay healthy ( and that's an order...) no matter what happens with your guys!!

Hi, everyone... @Natalka , it sure is hard not to hug a loved one, isn't it? Something we may have taken for granted before...when the kids walk over it's all I can do, to stop myself from hugging my Grandson! When we hug it's never a short hug, it's a hug-the-stuffing-out-of-you hug! So far I've resisted. We're attempting to keep both our homes as "safe houses" when things get a little easier for everyone and no one has coughed or sniffled for at least 2 weeks. Both our DD and I have a silly little throat tickle from our bronchitis, so the count-down hasn't started, yet. Hubby is getting over his cold.
I hope your two men can get EI started quickly, although I haven't heard how long it takes to get on it from the time they apply...hope there's no delay!
As to your kitty pics,...Um...I think I'm #3, 6 and 9 only sub a tablet for books and the tv for music. @walkonby .....if I don't keep my less strict eating under control, I'll be....

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years.
No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as:
- Knowing when to come in out of the rain;
- Why the early bird gets the worm;
- Life isn't always fair;
- And maybe it was my fault.
Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge).
His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition.
Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children.
It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer sun lotion or an aspirin to a student; but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.
Common Sense lost the will to live as the churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims.
Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault.
Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.
Common Sense was preceded in death,
-by his parents, Truth and Trust,
-by his wife, Discretion,
-by his daughter, Responsibility,
-and by his son, Reason.
He is survived by his 5 stepchildren;
- I Know My Rights
- I Want It Now
- Someone Else Is To Blame
- I'm A Victim
- Pay me for Doing Nothing
Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone. If you still remember him, pass this on. If not, join the majority and do nothing.
