Hi folks!
When I come back in another life, I would like to be a weather forecaster. Not right half the time and no one really cares. We did not get the predicted bad weather last night but WHOA! the winds this morning could pick you up and transport you to next week!
Has anyone experienced working all day and really not accomplishing very much? I got up early to get to a test that I thought was a CT scan. Nope-just a blood test. Poor little tyke in the next room screamed and screamed for ages while the techs tried to get blood from her.....and her grandma wouldn't SAVE her!! How awful when little kids don't understand why people are hurting them!
I burned the sauce on my chicken the other night and I have been scrubbing at the blacked mess on my broiler pan with every toxic thing I can think of and it still won't come off! I have finally decided that if that black stuff won't give up to such measures, then it probably won't attach itself to the next thing that I put on there (which will be my pork chop tonight) and I can cover it with aluminum foil. (The pan, not the chop, although, I suppose either would work.)
It has turned into a lovely (although somewhat breezy) sunny with puffy here and there clouds afternoon. I have the patio window open to air the place from the Vim, Bleach, and clorox smell.
I put in a big order to Northern Reflections to take advantage of a half off and no delivery charge event. I'm sick of wearing "comfort" style pants that sit at my hips and show my undies even if I have a blouse over a t-especially when I bend over to pick up you-know-what on dog walks. That guy on the 6th floor with binoculars is not convincing me that he's bird-watching!!!
The pants and (sorry@Lynn49) capris come up to a back-elasticized waist. I also picked out tops that come down past my posterior. It all arrived today and I am very pleased.
Well, I must get back to work doing nothing that's on my list. Who knew that removing tags and taking out garbage could take so long?
Tomorrow morning early I have an appointment with a dermatologist to remove some peskilly-places skin tags and zap some sun damage on my face, chest and also look at a worrisome sore on my lip. Then she is retiring at the end of the month and the first follow-up appointment I can get is next April with another dermatologist. I'm presuming that if there is anything really wrong, I can get in sooner. I hope.
Well, I had better check what else will be on the dinner menu, and maybe get a few other things filed.
Take care, everyone! Enjoy your day and stay safe!

Good sunny morning!
It's been a busy week, back to our new trailer tomorrow with a few things we picked up at Bed Bath & Beyond...my first time in a store here in 3 months! I was impressed with the precautions they took...hands and cart handles sanitized, and I'd guess about 80% of us were wearing masks. Even so, I was edgy and happy to get out of there. I'll be home from now on. I've had quite enough of people for now. Covid numbers will rise with everyone gathering together, acting as if the virus won't find them if they're in a big group.
We viewed our GS's virtual "stepping up" graduation class video last evening, his valedictorian speech, and each teacher in the school sharing their thoughts and support, then every student was pictured with 3 positive remarks each, written by classmates and their teacher. Among the beautuful ones for our GS, one stood out for us: "if you fall, he'll pick you up". Sniff....DD and I shed tears pretty much throughout the presentation, lol. Saps.
They'll all be off to various schools for grade 7, our GS to the high school where my DH taught for 30 years, and where our DD went to school.
Whatever school will look like in September!!
Enjoy your sunny day, everyone! Stay safe, well, and at home as much as you can!

Good day my friends!
Hope everyone is indeed having a good one!
I am hoping that this will work and be posted so I don't pull my fur out!
I managed to get my daily walk done in the morning while it was still cool out. Nowadays it seems like my cat would be able to give me a more accurate forecast than the supposed "specialists". However if I go by his reactions, sleep would be the most obvious wY of dealing with the weather.
I am not sure what the weekend holds other than work around the place that got passed by because of the humidity and/or pain!
Whatever it is that your planning on doing do so safely and stay well!Always remember the What are you thankful for today? thread as there always is something to be thankful for.

Good day. Peeps!
Still haven'tgot to the tablet being fixdf. Obviously not my fault.
Have had bad few days before, but. They have not. Eased up - nausea, dizziness, upset tummy, various hurts and aches in joints, there worst being hipds and knees.
I am doing what I can to ease the symptoms. Most of the time husband has to hold me while I walk. He is also not doing so great.
Oy! What else to do?
Hope you are all having a great weekend!d!Last edited by Natalka; Fri, Jun 26th, 2020 at 11:11 PM.

aw ^^^ @Natalka I can sure read through those lines! here's a cheer-you-up bouquet!! Hope it helps!!
My day ( and evening ) has been a delight! We got Disney+ ( gifted ) from a subscriber who is sharing their password!!
( insert song and happiness clip! )
How Do I love Thee? Let me count the ways....I am speaking about the wee baby Yoda character from The Mandalorian!!
I had only ever seen the first 2 episodes when it first aired, then we lost access so today I was able to binge the remaining 6 episodes and woo hoo!!!
What a great Series, Season 2 is supposed to drop in October 0f this year ( I suppose IF the virus doesn't delay things )
Also.......one of my favourite actors is joining the cast!!
Timothy Olyphant will be wearing Bobo Fett's armour. Imho Timothy is way too handsome to slap a helmet on but it must have been exciting for him to find out he'd be a part of it all.
I'll know it's him anyways from his pigeon toed walk, I always cracked up watching him walk in Justified.
