Good morning folks! I love being productive early in the a.m. as it leaves me more openings later on for a nap(s).
Was out bright and early to drop DD off and WM is the only store open at the time....so I took advantage that their PM policy is still in effect.
PM the green cabbage from NF ( just .47 a lb! ) and got 2 large heads.
Before we left the house I had filled and turned on the rice cooker, thawed the ground beef last night so once back home I was able to make up a large roast pan of the Lazy Cabbage recipe very quickly. ( I am forever indebted to @Natalka for that recipe )
Sometimes I do enjoy making actual cabbage rolls but this is so much easier.

I had to add 2 large cans of diced tomatoes and 2 cans of tomato juice to match up with all the other stuff. I know what the guys will be taking to work for at least two meals. I also chopped up an entire bunch of fresh dill....Mmmmm.
O.k. sorry, I know this is not the food thread.

Thought I had better pop in before I try to nap. Nurse came - a new one - so that is tough, she was looking to me for assessing how the wounds looked. A better judge is my husband, most nurses are kind enough to let him have a peek.
So there is noticeable positive change from two days ago, on that worst owies. Still painful for me, though.

Have to put up with a new side effect from the antibiotic, which some women do get, gah. Mine isn't bad, though, so I am sending a note with my husband to SDM, and hopefully they can judge what I need. I am glad it is very mild, though.

Thanks so much to those of you who pass along encouraging words - all of that helps so very much!

Good morning, everyone. I'm going to meet my brotherR at a dr. appointment and have a Tim's treat before he heads back to his home.

Nice day out. We had to all park outside while they fix the garage door this morning. I chose to do it last night so that I wouldn't have to get up so early.

I have to also make an appointment for me because my feet are so painful at night and hot and red on the souls. It was suggested that I up my intake of Vitamin B but that hasn't helped my feet.

Well, miles to go before I sleep and promises to keep.

The issue is, no one cares about this site anymore
