I did a quick NF trip before the store closed tonight. Redeemed $30 in points, used $15.07 in coupons. $4.56 oop - $3 CO51, which already got approved.

Morning! Quiet work day for me today so getting some things done.

First. The mystery of the missing cups and glasses. DS brought all his dirty dishes up from the basement. Will be putting a reminder note on the basement door to bring dirty dishes upstairs daily!
Kitchen is almost clean. Puttered in the garage a bit and organized the recycling and garbage. Posted a few things for sale. Started a donation box that I will drop off this afternoon. Heading back out to the garage now

IGA (QC) 2 X Rice krispies squares @2,98$ minus 2 x 1,00$ kellogs peelie on the products yay first time i had some=1,99$ was cheaper at maxi and cie but they dont have the specialy advertissed boxes from promo so.....will submit my receipt and hope to receive the free coupon
Found 1 lonely chezz it 2,00$wub2 coupon at iga in the shelve of the product

Mr NET cleaning sheet 8 per box @3,98$ x4 boxes minus 8000 pc points(2 000 points per box they rounded up the 0,98$( figure it out 2,00$ after points and it could be handy around the appart like cleaning quick microwave and stove)
Kraft Hazelnut big jar @3,77$ because I pm metro x4 minus 4 x 1,00$ coupons(tear pad in a trade) minus 2000 pc points on each so 8000 pc points =0,77$ per jar and bb date is march

so 16 000 pc points for a 32,34$ shop not bad ........I am at 25 095 pc points my goals is to reach more points for christmas!!!

and I think I will redo check out 51 (they have 2$ for the cracker) so that me they would be free
crackers were approved and I am waiting on the rice krispies to be approved catching for 4$ and will watch the sale and match coupons the next time too!

@Ciel very sorry to hear about the decline in your health. Planning for the future can be difficult especially with health issues that are unpredictable. I find during stressful times with my health, that mediation and walking outside really helps. Best to write stuff down and keep a folder of everything (card numbers, passwords, etc) for easy reference in the future. I know there are will kits for under $50 maybe at Staples or Bestbuy??

I reapplied for the hydro credit as every little bit helps. I have a space heater and heated throw that I use on cold mornings, as I'm trying to hold off on turning the furnace on. I open the curtains to let as much light in during the day and have solar lights near my front door, so that I don't need to turn on my porch light. Wish there was a credit for water though. I use very little, yet that is getting very expensive too.

I have been entering my codes from McDonald's game pieces, and have an offer for 40% off Kobo. However, I hate reading on my iPad and prefer hard cover books, so I may pass that promotion off.

Almost finished reading Finding Freedom and now I hear that Meghan is saying it's fiction, in her lawsuit with the tabloids??

Ciel-sorry to hear about the decline in your health. I am wondering if you would be eligible for the CPP disability pension since you are ill and it sounds like unable to work. Perhaps you have already looked into that.

I am sure this will make you all laugh but just for fun on my holiday I hit up two thrift stores this morning and bought some clothes!! I think there is a third one close by but tomorrow is a new day! I am staying in a lovely suite with an ocean view( and it is not raining on Vancouver Island) and I used free points on my home exchange website to pay for it-therefore I felt I could splurge and shop-lol.

ok.. so i am working with my dogs on leash training.... my one dog came to me as soon as i asked him... and he didnt pull at all. This is big. as he is a large ( over weight) dog. he was all happy. so was i . he got a small treat when we went in. i am very proud of him.

ok. tonight.. tidy playrooms, maybe some on the front porch. Pork snitzle for supper, garlic butter rice and baby carrots. this should be a light grocery week.
i have a productive weekend planned so i am hoping i can get it all done.
