Good morning!

Yesterday I messaged my Friend in Abbotsford, BC to ask how she and her family are, they're fine, she replied.....about 5 minutes later: we're being evacuated! Her 100-yr old Mom was evacuated to a hospital by ambulance, they moved in with their Son's family..he's with SARS (search and rescue), so they may not see much of him. Such a tragedy there, winds and white-out in Saskatchewan...it's armageddon out there!!

We have some snow on the ground this morning, so hopefully I can ditch my puffers!

Big gamble there, I'd prefer to keep Semien!! They probably cannot afford to keep both.

Up and at 'em for me in the wee, wee hours ( again ), but to be fair I did go to bed at 8 p.m. last night.
I am learning to surrender to the eye bobbing and accept that the body needs sleep.

So what else can I do at that hour? ( 2 a.m. ) except some laundry and make another batch of chicken noodle soup.
Yesterday I pulled 3 tubs of pasta related items from the freezer to get eaten up as well, so we're good.
Still kind of drab, rainy-ish weather here, hoping my flyers don't get tossed onto the deck without a protective plastic sleeve.

So far, feeling a #5, cautiously optimistic, wondering what the day will bring.

Ugh...that "cars for kids commercial" with those kids pretending to play instruments wearing pink and white!! I can't reach for the converter fast enough! Gah!!

Isn't the Jays' management famous for trading away our best players for old has-beens? I hope we can keep them both.

Omgosh, those images from BC! Just heart-breaking.

Yes the BC images are horrific-our young house guest from last week thankfully left and passed through the fatal slide area on Thursday-just a few days before the slide-still people missing. So tragic.
