The 3 of us are " decked out ", as in exhausted from refreshing the look of the backyard. Most of the upper original deck remained, but the lower half was replaced with concrete patio stones ( some red, some white ) because in the 3 weeks or so that DH did the first half in red, they DISCONTINUED the red in the size he needed and NO ONE had any of them kicking around in their stockpiles. Figures.
Red and white patterned...sort of. We adapted.
Fresh new indoor/outdoor carpet up on the top deck. Now we just need a batch of Pina Colada's to round out the afternoon.

No regrets! DH and I enjoyed our tall hurricane glasses filled with Pina Colada sitting out back on the very recently finished patio.( I used my brand new blender to make the drinks ).
Was it the alcohol or the sense of accomplishment that had us woozy after so much hard work slugging for many days, weeks? Meh? probably the rum....ha ha

Good morning, off to camp to babysit our GS this weekend, as the kids are off to Ottawa for a 40th b'day weekend for a friend from the Sault.
