What's For Dinner?

Last night I made those mini naan pizzas with caramelized onions and “pepperNoni” with more garden salad and Dh has a work meeting tonight and they will be feeding him so it’s a no cook night for me . I’m having naan, hummus with balsamic reduction, and a big bowl of strawberries and blueberries with a couple of Biscoff cookies with tons more water.

pepperNoni! ^^^ ha ha ! I get it. I once ordered from PizzaPizza and made the mistake of having a plant based pepperoni as a topping . Oy! The guys made these " ew " faces, guess I won't do that again. It tasted o.k. to me but I could tell it wasn't meat. Tonight I ate a whack of naked strawberries, which for me was showing restraint. So easy to add whipped cream to them.

Hoping that life is slowing down a little bit (hope I did not jinx myself) but we are going to try Meal Planning again this week.

Tonight is BBQ Chicken Ceasar Wraps for me and BBQ Wings for Mom, we will both have oven fries on the side.

Had some bolognese sauce in the freezer that I turned into chili. So I made chilie fries for dinner with a garden salad on the side.

Tonight we are making Homemade Pizza with the usual suspects Pepperoni, Mushroom, Onions, Bacon, Cheddar and Parm.

On the side I will made a Salad I have not decided yet if I am going to make a Caesar Salad with my new favourite add in Pita Chips instead of croutons, or a Dill Ranch Salad with Crispy Dill Pickles (Think French Fried Onions but Dill Pickles, oh my I could eat them like chips).

DH is pumped for Sunday! Kids will be here for a BBQ. I splurged and bought 1 box of the PC Wagyu patties. Awful price for 4 burgers ( $12.00 ), but 4 of us are curious enough to see if they measure up to the hype. Also bought Blue menu patties and 1 pkg. of the hilarious foot long ( Ballpark style ) dogs.
DH is currently making 2 different Fusilli cold pasta salads. Canned tuna, diced veg, mayo and Dijon in one and fresh minced garlic, oil/vinegar dressing, fresh herbs, diced baby cucumbers and bell peppers in the other.
He still wants me to grill up a pkg. of the Mark Angelo pork kebabs! That seems like too much food, but he said " NEVAH! " lol.

Simple dinner last night.

Potato salad with tofu egg, cucumbers, various peppers, nann, hummus, Breton garden veggie crackers with cream cheese and vegan caviar.

fresh fish for the second night with steamed broccoli and baby potatoes with a small cesar salad bowl of sherbet with fresh ontario strawberries.
Hubby had pasta with garlic toast.

I was not feeling dinner duties last night after a long hot day at work but I managed to whip together a pasta with garlic and chive “cream cheeze”, white beans, and broccoli. It was really good and quick which was good.

I have prepped and made everything for TACO SUNDAY! I know it's supposed to be a Tuesday but the mood hit me this morning and
I had the stuff here, just needed to grab some soft tacos and hard stand up shells. The meat mixture is a little extra spicy, the cheese
is grated, veggies diced, sliced and I even have some sour cream to use up! I hope the guys play along, sometimes they hate the fussiness
of building their tacos. ha ha

Listed off a bunch of options, all of them were Chicken so guess I am craving Chicken. Mom choose CHicken Enchiladas which will have homemade sauce, chicken, cheese, peppers and mushrooms. On the side I will make mexican corn.

Over to our friends for dinner tonight so no idea what we are having but I am sure it will be good!
