Went into Wendys, for some cheap fries. The road outside was shut down for re-paving, with some cops stationed at the intersection. It was a hot day, so I decided to treat the constables to some frosties. I did not know if they would accept them from a scruffy character like me, so I asked the countergirl to take them out to them and she agreed. The manager was nice about it, too. She only charged me for 2 of the 3 frosties. A lot of goodwill and cheer spread around for a couple of bucks.

I am exhausted. We spent another very hot day working in the gazebo. It’s the metal type that will outlast us, but it was not hard work. I also did a bunch of hard work so I feel like I will sleep well tonight.
My brother and sister in law came over for dinner, we had burgers and I made them fro scratch which I normally never do but I am loving this local food lifestyle here so went to a butcher to get the beef. They weee delicious.

    Good Morning Everyone,
Happy Monday, I am feeling better but still not 100% but feeling like I am on the mend.

It is a new week and I am going to do my best to get everything back on track.

Doing all of the work things or at least trying. I am really working on making my job proactive instead of reactive but it is hard because for so long I was told deal with it when we need it. So now when I am working on things we don't need right now I feel like I am not prioritizing correctly, I feel like there must be something else that needs my attention now. It feels weird to work on a training plan for a position we aren't hiring for right now but doing it just to have it on file. It is work in process.

Finally washing the bedding I forgot to wash last week and than ran out of time to wash. My bedding is going now and will switch to Mom's once she gets up.

Seems like my fix on the AC unit might be working I can hear she still has it one and if it started to rattle she would have turned it off.

Still have some stuff to get done in the kitchen today so will try to get that done, need to grate cheese, grill some veggies, depending on the day goes maybe some meal prep. Oh and I want to make some muffins as I have some ricotta to use up.

Thinking Dinner tonight will be Baked Sausages with Baked Potatoes and a veggie on the side, we have lots of options Broccoli, Zucchini, Grilled Veggies if we get them done so we shall see. Or maybe I will ask Mom if she would prefer a steak over a Sausage, I cannot remember the last time we had steak, we shall see.

    Happy Monday Everyone

Today was a bit of a mundane day but I LOVED it.

Work stuff worked, I was able to knock a few things off the to-do list, love the feeling of being able to cross things off.

My Bed is made and I just need to put the top sheet and comforter on Mom's bed. Am I the only person who cannot put their bedding in one load?

Oh my gosh can we talk about taking a shower after you have not been feeling well, I admit I did not shower yesterday did not have it in me but my showed today oh my gosh the best shower but I did nothing different.

Was in my jammies by 5 pm.

I ended up making Baked Tacos for dinner, grabbed some cooked ground turkey from the freezer, used up some leftover enchilada sauce and added Mushrooms, Onions and Peppers for that veggie factor. On the side made a ranch Salad, what is it about ranch dressing and cheddar cheese they are made for each other.

    Tidied up the kitchen.

Now it is time to relax.

    Good Morning Everyone,
Rainy morning here, which is fine because I need to sit my behind at my laptop and type, type, type.

I should run out and grab milk but honestly do not feel like it so I might just pull a bag from the freezer which will get us to Thursday when the flyers change.

Trying to figure out this dinner thing, I am feeling about 90% after being sick on the weekend but I do not know what it is but my tummy will just say no to certain things right now. The odd thing is yesterday morning I thought oh Steak sounds good haven't had that in awhile in the afternoon when I went to go pull one from the freezer my tummy went "nope, not a good idea." This is making planning dinner a bit tricky, it almost feels like at Dinner I have to be like okay tummy what do you want?

I am really trying to focus on taking care of myself this week and getting myself back on track. Also need to focus on this house. I did the bedding yesterday, clean the kitchen but I think each day I will force myself to clean something anything for at least 15 minutes a day and see where that gets me.

    Happy Tuesday Everyone.

    good morning @SassyAshley .

I also did not feel like filling the vehicle with gas so DH popped out at 6:30 a.m. for me before the recycle trucks jam up the street.
    That was sweet of him.
Has anyone ever unwrapped a pound of butter only to discover all these ugly black lines running throughout the entire block?
We keep ours in a small fridge in the backroom, never ever seen anything like this before, so I feel that it happened at the plant.
Maybe a bacteria got in and then spread after it was wrapped and sent out to the stores? The picture is not the best but I wanted
to get a shot of it and DH had already tied up the food waste bag and had dumped it in the tall green one. EW!! I wanted to hurl!
Oh well, at least I captured the black parts.

Mold I think. It can happen at the store level. It can happen at the manufacturing plant too.

Ladies! Thank you @flemeth and @Shwa Girl ( about your knowledge on the butter ) . Wish I'd kept the wrapper and could remember what store I bought it from and when? Brings a frustrating sort of realization that the " sale " price ( usually $4.99 ) was for nothing.
So weird that we have our butter in a butter dish out on the table all the time and we've never seen it turn black?
How about them thunder boomers earlier eh? Waking my shift workers is very unfair!

@coupon girl , happy birthday to your hubby and enjoy your dinner out.

@walkonby , I had this happen once odd thing was I bought 4 bricks at the same time from the same box at the store and only 1 had this. I emailed the company about it and they sent me a coupon for one for free but it was a lot of back and forth with the manufacture.
