Happy Monday! Sunshine and blue sky....Will enjoy it today since I am told not to look at the forecast!
Enjoying my coffee and planning out my day. I think it is a good day to clean out the garage. Someone had a pile of plastic bins on the side of the road on Friday and I turned around and took them all- All in perfect condition with lids! So will use a few for DS's tools/stuff (we are planning on buying him a large lockable work/storage bench for Christmas)
If I start the above then dinner will be a cooked chicken from RCSS! I need to start doing this more when I want to get other things done instead of worrying about making dinner. I will make a salad to go with it and cook up the last of the potato skins for the boys. Now I have no excuse to get at the garage!
Vacation- Have searched high and low for the best travel containers (for shampoo/body wash/face cream etc) and finally made a choice and will pick them up this week. I even bought a smaller travel hair brush on the weekend so I feel like now I have everything needed (well need to buy a few bags of peanut m&m's- Someone keeps eating the travel snack stash!) I had to buy a new crossbody bag since the strap broke on my fav one and I like it for its small size- That was delivered on Friday and I gave it a test run yesterday and like it better then my old one (Zippers seem stronger/better made on the new one) 38 more sleeps!
Will pack the 1st week of November!
I am so not ready for winter!!! This nice weather I feel like is the calm before the storm. I just want to park in the garage and not drive till April!
Trying to be positive about getting out and enjoying it but if it was anything like last winter I feel like we will be snowed in all the time again
Enjoy the week!

With you 2 ladies expressing a positive attitude for this unexpected sunny, warm weather in October, I'll join in.
Even though I'm out the door to get a cavity filled. Imagine how thrilled our Blue Jays team felt about playing 2
fabulous games on the weekend with the roof open!?
The fans soaked in both the wins and the rays!! Enjoy this while it lasts.

We have a beautiful but breezy day. It’s currently 28 degrees. I will enjoy it while it lasts as it supposed to be 10 on Thursday😢. I guess my days of no furnace end this week.
The breeze is not great for the wildfires and currently we are supposed to get a decent amount of rain Wednesday. I will believe it when I see it.Friends don't let real friends pay full price.

Lilo I hear you-our furnace needed to go on Saturday. Hubs finally retired his shorts for the season yesterday.
Wish me luck-I have an 8 month old tomorrow and then picking up a 3 and 5 year old and caring for them until late on Saturday while the parents are at a conference. Really enjoying a quiet day today.

Good Day!
We had rain overnight and it is gray and overcast out this morning.
Perfect day to work from home.
Yesterday I ended up making pasta for dinner (pulled sauce ready in the freezer) so will do the chicken tonight. I was just so hungry yesterday afternoon (hadn't eaten anything at that point) so wanted to make something (didn't feel like going out) ASAP. I appreciate it today
I washed and dried in the sunshine one of the re-useable bins yesterday. Think I will go through my vacation clothes and put what I know I am planning to pack in the bin. Maybe if I put the travel snacks at the bottom they will be out of sight out of mind!
Meeting my friend for lunch today so will be nice to get out of the house for a bit. We have a cheap breakfast/lunch place where you can get a toasted western with a side for $10 plus tax/tip ( it was great when the no tax time was on!) Nice for a friend chit chat.
Have a wonderful day!

For those that use Air Miles there is a current opt in offer for 95 miles when you submit a receipt. I picked up eggs today as I am not sure if I will be in town before Friday when the offer ends. I had already taken advantage of the cranberry sauce offer as this was a requested food bank item.

Happy Wednesday!
We have blue sky with clouds...at least it isn't raining. It sure is sweater weather now!
Enjoying chicken and rice for breakfast/lunch lol
Work- Working on 5 things at the same time.... it will all get done like usual! This is how I roll!
Youngest DS is away at work for the night....12 hours driving round trip to work 5 hours... Then back working in town on Friday. So the leftovers for dinner will work since he is not home to eat!
Ok I need to get rolling so I can get my work done and get out later today for a walk in this wonderful Fall weather!
Have a wonderful day!

I'm holding off shopping until tomorrow for all the last minute Thanksgiving ingredients, produce, herbs, etc.
Seems I actually overbought on the butternut and sweet potatoes, so after we host this meal at Thanksgiving
we'll make sure to cook up some squash soups and roast sweet potatoes till there all gone.
The only thing I haven't done is deep clean anything. In general things are tidy, so that should be enough.

BRRR! It was hard to get out of bed this morning since the bedroom and bathroom windows were open. Closed now!
The sun is shining so don't think we need to put on the heat yet....Saturday looks warm too!
Going to try and get all my work reports done today so tomorrow is a smooth day to wrap stuff up before long weekend (extra long weekend as I booked Tuesday and Wednesday off too!)
I didn't leave the house at all yesterday so $0 spent
. Dinner was ceasar salad with chicken. Hit the spot! Really wanted to go out with friends but glad we pushed that to the weekend
I will look over the sale flyers and see if there is anything I should pop out for today... I'm sure it will be busy out since the sun is shining and people will be prepping for the long weekend.
Enjoy the day!
