Woke up to our first snowfall! Out for lunch to my sisters and dinner at my brothers. We listed my Mums condo Thursday and received a conditional offer on Fri with a closing of Oct 30 so hopefully everything comes together.

    Good Morning Everyone,
    Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Yippee, I slept in this morning. I know that sounds so funny but I am the type of girl who cannot force herself back to sleep, it doesn't go well so I have to wait for my body to decide it wants to sleep in. Which I might say usually happens on a work day and I can't.

I should be cleaning my pantry but right now that is not happening, instead I am having a slow morning with a cup of tea, catching up on my shows and mindlessly scrolling on my phone.

Last night I started to catch up on my bullet journals, I never set up October so I started last night. It feels good to get back some normalcy in my life. I really need to get back into my routines.

Need to see how Mom feels before I plan dinner, originally she asked for a roast beef dinner but might push that to tomorrow just to make sure her tummy can handle it. Now that the weather has turned, all I want is Mashed Potatoes LOL.

Also this cooler weather makes me want to bake, I guess I just want all the warm, cozy comforts.

    Happy Sunday Everyone.

Go Jays! I’m in BC so the game is on at 5:00.
I became a Jays fan last year, when I had a knee replacement and had nothing but time on my hands for television!

Fired up the furnace for the first time this fall. Sigh. Outside temps dropped to freezing and indoor temps at 12 degrees. Oh, well. It had to happen at some point.

Hello everyone we are back 3 beautifull days up in huntsville ,love up north .We ate out so much kids treated us ,then we treated them to a lovely meal for thanksgiving in a restaurant not frugal but hey the whole family was there .

Mind you the ride was hard on my knees both up and back ,longer on the way home due to a few accidents 4 hours only stopped for a muffin ,at timmies and hubbys coffee. The granddkids enjoyed themselves ,i got to play bingo with them ,paint a pumpkin and i walked all over the resort .I watched them swim ,as i couldn t yet .All in all i loved the getaway.

    Happy Thanksgiving!

Yup. They deliberately arranged it so that they could still claim the statutory holiday pay, since they are technically not on strike. Also, making sure that they get 2.5x normal pay to work on Thanksgiving. Typical move for CUPE to cheat the taxpayer.

We travelled to see my family for Thanksgiving weekend. We attended a large family gathering on Saturday. On Sunday we spent a quiet evening at my brother’s house and got to meet the new baby. He was so sweet and got sleepy cuddles from each of us, including our children. My new SIL was very appreciative of the bag of laundered gently used baby clothes that we brought for them. It was so sweet.

My neighbour was about to re-cycle 4x bottles of sparkling water. I grabbed them. I just hate to see things go to waste. RCSS had 6x 2-litre bricks of Chapmans ice cream for $2.70 each. Walked into a wall on my way out. Darn near broke my nose. Luckily, I escaped with only a minor cut on the bridge of my nose. Phew.

    Good Morning Everyone,
Happy Tuesday that feels like a Monday.

Yesterday I woke up in a funk and honestly, I did not feel like trying to bring myself out of it so I lived in my funk for the day but today is a new day.

On Sunday I did not get the pantry cleaned as I had planned but I did go through the Potatoes, Onions and Sweet Potatoes. Normally I rotate these every week and bring up any that need to be used up but that has not happened in awhile so there was some food waste, that is on me. I do have replacement I still need to put away as part of the Pantry Reset.

Yesterday I got nothing done other than keeping the kitchen clean and some days that is just how it goes. I made a one-pot Buttered Noodle and Chicken dish for Dinner, I needed simple.

Today is a new day, I have laundry going, originally I planned to do bedding but Mom said she needed regular laundry done so I am doing that and bedding will be another day.

Need to figure out dinner for tonight, I did not do any prep or write a meal plan, maybe I will meal plan today, we shall see. Thinking for the most part we will keep it simple this week, but we will see how it goes.

I took my weekend and now we really focus on getting back into my routines and getting caught up on everything.

    Happy Tuesday Everyone.

CG-I am sure the surgeon will be impressed.
Tomorrow I am meeting my pseudo SIL in Salmon Arm to pick up the pooch and bring her home to hubs. My daughter and I will soon be away for a month and my SIL works long hrs so my husband will enjoy the company. That dog is always crisscrossing the country. What we do for our kids. Anyway it looks like a nice day for a long fall drive.

Found an open box of Trick-or-Treat candy in the Ikea parking lot. Still had 42 out of the original 50. I'm sure they're still good, since they are individually packaged. Also found a pair of nerf walkie-talkies. I'll give them to the little kids across the street.

Went in for my weekly free plate of chicken wings at Canadian Brewhouse and found that I had a second free offer of Tailgate Taters. Oh my goodness, that place can sure pack the calories into a dish.
