    Time sure does fly, flemeth...he's still only 8 years old to me!!!

    I had hoped that Walkonby would have checked in, but they must be keeping her busy in the hospital....she'll be home soon.

    Enjoy whatever sunshine is coming you way today, flemeth...everyone!!

    ugh!!! Yes, I was discharged on March 24th at 2 p.m. but this damn nausea/dizziness is still hanging around.
    Find it very hard to type or watch tv...or to read anything.

    Saddest news this morning is about an hour after I gave Frankie Feathers his meal worms and bits of fresh fruit,
    I walked by to see his lifeless wee body on the bottom of the cage. He was only a common chipping sparrow ( that
    DH rescued off our patio walkway ) but he absolutely captured our hearts.
    Why am I crying about this 2" tall bird who couldn't really fly, never sang and had a crippled foot that could not grip
    the perch? He survived despite all his disabilities, but I am so low and today of all days he leaves us?
    He would have turned 6 this coming Father's day.
    Gotta end this now. Be back on sc when I can

    Oh gosh, Walks, I’m so sorry to hear such sad news. He was such a pretty bird, I still smile when I recall how he didn’t want to leave my hand to give him back to your Hubby….such a wee charmer.

    I know your heart’s broken, but I hope it helps to recall how you saved him and gave him 6 lovely years of tender love. He was one very lucky bird.
    You’ve been through so much this past week…{{{hugs, my Friend}}}
