Good morn, Happy Tuesday!

Eyes are starting to close, will have to go try and nap soon...

Hotter day coming, yesterday was bad enough - forecast is for 32 plus a billion degrees hotter with the humidity.

My home care Dr called yesterday with results of my blood test. Thank goodness kidneys and liver are still fine.
However, she asked if I was still taking potassium pills (having very low K was why I had been hospitalized the first time). I told her I haven't, not for quite a while. Well, my potassium is high - she doesn't know why after she questioned my consumption of bananas, tomatoes, and potatoes.

She will have bloodwork done in two weeks, instead of waiting a month. The first symptom of high K is dizziness, which I already have - for some time, now.

Just going to try keep things cool in here as the day gets scorchier.

I have totally fallen in like with these floofs...

All done at the gym. I was here almost 3 hours. Spin class, ddpy energy and the 11.27.28. Also 15 mins of weights And 25 mins on the treadmill. Even on days when I feel dead I really try to dig deep and do something.

Thanks a lot. Definitely better than I used to look lol. The gym owner said I will see big changes by the end of summer with everything I have been doing.

Thanks @Lynn49 still 40lbs to lose and I keep working on getting a bit of abs and muscle lol. Overall everything is really good though. I’m going for the ripped class tomorrow at noon and more ddp yoga and weights. I think I’ll always have a bit of flab but I’ll be way better than I ever was.

Nope, at your age, that 'flab' will eventually disappear. It doesn't as one ages, however....ask me how I know...

'Nuther hot day today, ick!

Husband goes golfing this aft with workmates. It's totally a fun thing, but he's just not into being sportsy at all. He just looks forward to the BBQ after.
My son will come have supper with me.

So odd to think of, today is my +Dad's birthday - he would have been 99. He came to Canada when he was nine years old. He has been gone 32 years...

Photo is from the late 1950s when, after teaching for years, he went to university to get his B.A and B.Ed. I remember my Mom telling me how she would read him Shakespeare when his eyes were very sore from reading too much.
