Our DD a few streets over, a cul-de-sac had only 8 kids, yet when they were young cars used to drop kids off at our corner, send the kids around our houses, back to their cars! Lol! Times change, kids grow up.

Wife who hails from the North Shore and for awhile in the countryside says she has no recollection of Halloween Goats! I'm thinking people in @Lynn49 part of northern Ontario misheard the words Halloween Ghosts!

ha ha !! Why did your post make me giggle @Skippy ? Halloween Ghosts being misinterpreted isn't nearly as bad as the White House hosting a Hallow-read! party. Oh yeah kids really want you to hand them a BOOK on the night candy is on their minds. All criticism aside, I adore the First Lady, Dr Jill Biden is a teacher through and through!

Good morning!
it’s Covid vax, flu shot day for Hubby and I across town!
Convenient, since we can then pick our GS up from school since he attends high school across town and takes a bus.

Other than that, ipmy Cricut and I made our Christmas cards, so that’s done… far car from the over 200 my Mom used to send out! Our DD, however does send out over 100 to her clients. I like my number better.

So regarding our visiting goat, @Skippy ….you saw the proof yourself from the pic of him that @walkonby kindly posted for me, lol….yep, that’s the one at our doorstep I petted! Ghosts, indeed. Hmph. 😉 It’s those eyes they have!! Just mesmerizing! Yes, I can get lost in the eyes of a goat.

Good morning! Happy two FREE bags of Lays chips day! ( 415 gram size bags....HUGE ) I am not a fan of printing coupons because of the hassle I get trying to use them.
However, I took a chance and printed off that incredible coupon that Goodboy posted. The only store that had that size bag was Loblaws and I never shop there. I did this morning though, JUST the chips and I ran out humming " start the car ! ". These are DH's go-to chip!



OOP with $2.15 in taxes included was $7.65 . Aggravating that they charge us the tax on all 3 bags.

good morning Daylight Savings lovers! Well falling back ain't too bad. Should be a quiet day here, no huge projects lined up atm. Yesterday DH removed the hard plastic panels from the gazebo and tidied the back yard a bit. That brought curious ( and rather fluffy ) Mr. Squirrel around checking to see if DH and buried any tulip or other bulbs in the dirt. This nasty squirrel had dug up about 3 of the bulbs that were placed in the dirt out front before we covered the area over.
What a bugger, but so adorable!

Oh yes.... a very weird thing happened just before I started dinner last night! I was on a wee step ladder searching for pasta up in the cupboards to the right of the stove. Even though I swear I DID NOT press down or lean on the stove hood thingy with my left hand, it came crashing down on the ceramic stove top!! Whew, no breakage but what a scare. Upon inspecting the length of the screws that held this thing up DH said this " could " have happened when I was cooking! Could you imagine that?
He rehung the hood up using longer screws. Was there any silver lining? While he was downstairs looking for longer screws I managed to clean all the grease and grime off that was on the hood, the part we could never see or get at.

why... thank you @GoJays for seeing me! Yes it's morning and I've been quite bright eyed and bushy tailed since 4 a.m. so a small black coffee was my go to. Once again I bow down to my cute efficient little machine that makes 7 hard boiled eggs perfectly in just 15 minutes, peeling them took less than 1 1/2 minutes, cleanup ( what clean up ) was immediate. DH made his request for a batch of hard boiled eggs and I honoured that request....still not stabbing anyone....hooray for me.

Good morning, @GoJays , @walkonby , I’m not stabbing anyone this morning, either!
Up not by choice, but by Doxie, who has decided that 6:30 is a good time to get up. I’m not impressed yet here we are. This time-changing dance is getting old.

Walks, isn’t that “boiled” egg maker a blessing? No more timing a pot of water or struggling with peeling eggs. It’s all so easy now. However this morning I have to make up another pan of egg squares for instant breakfasts, this time Hubby finely diced a couple jalapeños for me to add in along with onions, diced ham, etc.
ok…it’s in the oven now, lol…I forgot I hadn’t posted this beforehand.

So on with your day, everyone! Things to do…Christmas baking to freeze, shopping to do…sneaking decorations out of hiding….enjoy!
