Sigh…..snow. So no green Christmas this year. Poopy.

We do have our group’s Christmas party, dinner later today, Hubbys included, so that’ll be fun.

Other than that….just chugging along as best as old folks can….enjoy the day, everyone!

Some of us are all caught up on Christmas stuff! Hahaha! Of course it’s easier when every day is Saturday….hope everything is going well for everyone!

Take care out there, drivers are crazy and you’re invisible to them. Take your patience with you, and I hope you can enjoy these days before the big day…CHRISTMAS!

@Lynn49 I had a hygienist appt. at 7 a.m. and LORDY! She found a cavity. Today is my dentist's last day before his Christmas vacation ( returning Jan 8th ).
Hygienist slotted me in for 2:15 this afternoon to get the cavity fixed. The hygienist has my best interests at heart, I mean what if it goes south on me and I am in agony before he returns? I hope with his packed schedule he takes pity on me and does the filling.

To kill time before the appt. I made a batch of Nutella Truffles. ( ty Lynn for the recipes ) The mixture is in the fridge firming up atm, when I get back from the dentist maybe I can start scooping and forming the balls. ( says it makes 20 ) I've got to find a dark corner in the back and bottom of the fridge where I can hide these until Christmas. I'll be rolling them in 4 different toppings. ( 5 of each )

Dentist fixed my cavity! Truffles all scooped and rolled in their various toppings. All now tightly sealed and hidden far from DH's and DS's prying eyes in the fridge.
Sigh....no hockey game on tonight, last night The Maple Leaf's did us proud! 7-3 vs NYR

A lovely early start to my day. Sure must have needed the many hours of sleep I got, cannot remember anything from last night? Just a few small errands ( gas, and picking up pics ), then I'll see what else can be prepped ahead for the Christmas Day meal. Freezers are terrific assistants aren't they?

There are SO MANY ways this story could have ended up tragically, BUT.....a happy a ending for Bean the Chihuahua ( and all those crazy fur loving rescuers)

Well the wife has the tree up with lights so getting there....
Week and a half till Christmas..time for me to move into gear and try to remember what I bought and where I hid it so I can wrap. Kudos to those already sitting back and watching Hallmark movies!
Into week 4 of tendon injury and the pain is great(as in lots not great great) thought I might sail through but somethings can't be rushed.

@Skippy , I learned years ago to have aplastic bin at the ready to toss everything I bought into it that would fit! So much easier than having that last minute panic about where I stashed things! Of course nowadays I likely wouldn’t even remember WHAT I bought, so that wouldn’t be a problem, hahahaha! Do you have good pain relief? No reason to suffer through it anymore….
