I used my $10 off when you buy three Olay products yesterday. I got three bottles of Olay Quench. I love that stuff. Then I had another $1 coupon for a bottle of Olay body lotion. I now have four big bottles of Olay Quench. I found an Olay clay mask on sale. It was regular $9.97 and it was marked down to $0.99. It will probably turn my face green or something.

I love Supernatural. I'm going to two more conventions this year. One in Vancouver and one in Chicago.

I knew that Grissom left CSI. The show wouldn't be the same without him. Gary Sinise sings? I like Horatio on CSI Miami. A lot of people don't like him for some reason. I don't understand that.

Gary Sinise plays bass & sings backup - smart man, got very talented folks to do the real singing, knows his limits, unlike some actors.

David Caruso ticked off a lot of people years ago when he was young & obnoxious. He left a hit show (NYPD Blue) cause he wasn't getting enough credit - I still remember the media reports, although I never watched the show - & soon found himself in a couple of low budget flicks that went nowhere. Seems he's realized where his bread is buttered (comes with age & maturity I guess), since every interview he's done since joining CSI Miami, he sings the praises of the producers & cast members (even those who were apparently very difficult to work with).

I remember when Davd left NYPD Blue. I never used to watch the show. He left NYPD so long ago. I don't think people like Horatio. They are getting the actor and character confused. I remember thinking that David was a jerk for leaving the show the way he did. I love him on CSI Miami. He's so cool.

I'm the same way. I'm always telling people I have all of this useless information in my head. Yesterday my boss asked us if we liked Brad Paisley. I went on to tell eveyone that he's married to Kimberly Williams, who used to date Pete Sampras. And that she's an actress who is on According to Jim. I'm sure they wanted to know that.

Brad is coming here for a concert.

I just got a phone call from DH (while he is out with his dad) telling me that his cousin (approx age 35) just died in hospital. Not clear on the details, but apparently she was in a car accident on Wednesday night and wasn't doing well. It's all so sudden, so if I'm not around for a little while you all know why.

o that's so sad. i will keep their family in my thoughts.

I remember caruso, left HSB to go do big and better things like movies. and the way the media reported it was that his ego was just to big to accept a popular tv series. and now i guess like it was mentioned he got some wisdom with age and decided he was wrong and returned to series. of course all that could have been a marketing ploy..i mean, whose going to watch csi, if they think caruso is a egomaniac? he earned some sympathy for himself, and altho yes i can see how he can be annoying..

oh and then there's my mom, who doesn't realize the cost of things today. i offerred to make a boiled dinner. (cost what.. $20?) she said, no she wants to take us all out to dinner. cause she has.. $40.

now the least time the 4 of us went out to swiss shalet it was $75. and only 2 of us ordered sundays for dessert.

and she mentioned going to the dragon buffet all you can eat which is like $17 person. omg. she's 80. how do you try to tell her you can't get a meal at a sit down reastaurant under $10?

Oh, NS ... that's too bad.

Mine still isn't home. He came home briefly, but is out again.

Here's the rest of the details:

DH's cousin t-boned a tanker truck on Wednesday morning, cracking two ribs, and partially collapsing a lung. They kept her overnight at the hospital for observation, and let her go home on Thursday afternoon. Things seemed to be going really well. She got up out of bed this morning, had something to eat, and then was going to get ready to go see the doctor this morning. I guess she woke up not feeling well - short of breath and dizzy, so her husband called 911. He sat her down on the toilet to let her get her head straight. He left the room for about 30 seconds to a minute, in which time she fell over off the toilet and was lying on the bathroom floor. I guess her oldest daughter (7 or 8 years old) found her. Her husband started CPR, the ambulance showed up about a minute later. She had no vital signs whatsoever. The doctor thinks that she had a blood clot in her leg and it got into her brain or heart or lungs or something. At least she didn't feel anything.
