Whew...
Man it is still so cold here! It is nice to have the sun still up later in the day now though, I really need some outdoor light in my life! On the first sunny, half-decent temperature day I am opening every window in my house and dusting everything. Anyone else's house feel all stale and nasty?

I don't think they have actually had 50 total words in the last few hunts.

Pudding au chaumeur (2nd recipe)


Cake1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 cup margarine
1 cup sugar
1 cup milk
1 egg

Sauce
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups brown sugar
2 cups boiling water
1/4 cup margarine

Directions

Preheat oven to 325F
Mix flour and baking powder, set aside

In a bowl, beat eggs, sugar, and margarine

Incorporate flour, alternating with milk.

Without spreading it, pour preperation into a greased 13"x9" pan.Mix all the ingredients for the sauce in a saucepan. Boil for 2 minutes.

Pour over top of the dough.
Bake 45 minutes.

the first one has strange measurements -
now that I've re-read them. Hope this one is the one. Can anyone verify?

Hubby doesn't care for cake so I don't make it. I made

You'll have to tell me what the hotel is like - I've only ever been in 2 hotel rooms in Toronto, both times visiting locals who were curious about the hotel. I'm too cheap to pay for a hotel in my hometown.
