Chicken, smashed potatoes, salad...and lobster tails!
My brother is visiting from away, the local seafood shop had frozen shelled lobster tails on sale for $2.50 each. I bought eight, cooked five tonight (DH does not like lobster). DS and DB each had two, I got one.

Cold chicken breast, which I'd baked with sea salt, pepper, and olive oil. A salad with romaine, red onion, tomatoe, and red bell pepper. I put my homemade oil and vinegar garlic dressing on the salad.

Homemade nachos baked in the oven with ground beef with taco seasoning, yellow pepper, tomatoes, onion, cheese, and.... restaurant-style sour cream! Mmmm, why can't all sour cream be that thick?

I had a $17 grilled cheesed sandwich from this new expensive restaurant in a small oil boom town in Saskatchewan. Most expensive grilled cheese ever, worth every penny! I feel guilty for spending that much
