i got bored and whipped it up... it's spinach ravioli, carrots, zucchini, kale, bok choy, spinach, tofu, and feta. lots of pepper and a little salt. sauteed the veggies in coconut oil first. so freaking good.

Wow!-your basket looks fabulous-such a lovely tradition! Enjoy your holiday.

Usually we would have our Easter breakfast after church Sunday morning, but we're 'kinda cheating' and having the traditional blessed foods for supper. (We won't go to hell or anything, since at the blessing Christ is Risen is sung, so it's more of a technicality. I had never ever thought of doing this til one year we were having a priest over, and he said it was fine!)

So we have to eat the blessed foods first, everything which is in the basket - but, of course, there is more of everything!

Baked ham, ham garlic sausage, Paska and Babka breads, boiled eggs, green onion, cottage cheese, butter - along with cabbage rolls.

    Thanks, lizzie!

And it's what's for supper again tonight - with added potato salad.
No problems at all eating these foods two days in a row!

As long as the BBQ is found to be in working order, we'll have M&M's teriyaki sirloins (oh, my fave!), with packet potatoes and onions, with a salad.

I sent my husband to buy the steaks yesterday, and I wrote the list (my bad) as:

4 pack sirloin steaks 8.79 -- (I meant there were four in each pack)

However, he came home with three packages; he tried to buy four but there was a limit of three.
Not in my plan to have spent that much, but we do love them, so will spread them out over the next months...

Last night was fish night since DH was out. I had a couple frozen lobster tails that DS got, some haddock baked, and potatoes smashed (boiled first, then smushed on a cookie sheet and sprayed with olive oil and sea salt).

Tonight it's turkey burgers that I grilled yesterday. I think that for tomorrow I'm going to try something I saw online - doing baked potatoes in my crock pot.

It is supposed to be quite warm by dinner tonight and I am feeling a bit tired and lazy so have decided on a simple supper-toasted bacon and tomato sandwiches-and if DH and DD don't care for that they can have a "grab your own supper"-that is what my Mum used to call it when raising 5 kids and working!

Last night was Pork Lion roast with potato stuffing, roasted potatoes and carrots and roasted broccoli & cauliflower with parm cheese. Cleaned all the veggies out of the fridge and roasted whatever I found.
