I was going to buy a roast beef at Costco, but all the sirloin roasts had expiry dates of today (or yesterday!). So pork tenderloin it is with mashed potatoes and veggies.
The pork was really good! I reduced the spicy ingredients in it, and subbed dried onion flakes for the onion salt. Didn't make gravy as we were kind of late, but I will make some tonight to have with the leftovers tomorrow.

Well today is my b-day and hubby took me out to Sunday Brunch. And tonight for dinner it was just plain old toast and PB.

Last night I made a beef stew since mom woke up and announced she was getting a cold. But only I ate Beef Stew, Mom had decided to make chicken soup for the week well I was cooking the stew so she had Chicken Soup, I had Beef Stew and we have left overs of both in the fridge for later in the week.

Thanks for the b-day wishes! Havent decided what to make for dinner tonight. We are in the middle of a mild snow storm (is there such a thing as a mild snow storm?). Anyway, homemade chicken soup sounds great!

French toast with cinnamon and maple syrup.

Hey! Maybe I'm just getting up,
or having an early breakfast ,you don't know,

Actually it's one of the few things
    I know how to make.

(I think I just ate raw eggs dipped in bread....rats!)

    forgot the milk too....hmmmm.

Jumbo crispy wings (so yummy, from M&M Meats), homemade potato wedges, raw cauliflower and carrots.

Sure there are mild snowstorms, otherwise they are blizzards!

Sorry SC missed your birthday; if you put the date in the About Me section of your profile, we would have all known about it (you don't have to put the year!)

Just had tapioca. Seems every time I eat lately, I get a bad tummy ache and having to make many trips to the bathroom. Very strange

Happy Belated Birthday SnowFlakey!! hope you had a wonderful day! I've been MIA for a couple of days, people are so kind here with sharing I haven't had to cook for a couple of days. I'm home today so might make a pot of turkey soup as I have frozen leftovers from my turkey dinner...I have a bucket of salt meat too so I will be adding lots of that and then I can freeze the leftovers for later. Although my chest freezer quit, so I only have the top part of the fridge that is filling fast with drop off packages of cakes, cookies and many other goodies!!
