Last night was meatballs, frozen hashbrown patties (Safeway brand, they were awesome, tie for taste with McCain); and cucumber sticks.
Took out pork roast for tonight - hoping (fingers crossed) that husband will agree to make schnitzel - though his back is hurting badly, so depends on if he can do it with help from me, if not, I'll figure something else out.
Honestly, the trick to awesome schnitzel is in the pounding... and I just can't do it like he can.

Tonight we are having St-Hubert Pate Au Poulet (chicken pot pie), with a mixed salad. Dessert will probably be some canned pears or something like that. Yesterday, it was a beautiful sunny day and hubby and i had a garage sale. We had quite a lot of people, sold lots of stuff including a manual lawn mower (so glad we got rid of that). and we were totally exhausted after. With what was left, we made 3 piles: 1 keep pile, 1 donate to local goodwill pile and 1 pile that i will be bringing to my Ladies group for their White Elephant table. So supper last night was cereal and cut up fruits. Im still recovering! lol

My stepmother made awesome mac and cheese, I was never able to replicate it.
Tonight we're trying some of that 'Maggie so Juicy' stuff that several other SCers have given favorable reviews. I bought the garlic one, hope it's good! I'll be using chicken thighs rather than breasts, that's what we normally buy. I have onions, mushrooms and spinach in the oven now, we'll probably have some form of potato too (DS will not eat mushrooms and onions, he'll have raw carrots).Last edited by Zonny; Sun, Sep 29th, 2013 at 02:05 PM.

I had 3 toasts (thanks to being pregnant and having late afternoon sickness )
1 with butter, 1 with cream cheese, and 1 with peach jam. Eaten in this order.

I put a turkey breast in the slow cooker and will use it to make some clubhouse sandwiches later (I just put S&P on mine and drizzle with melted butter, cook on high for the 1st hour and then cook for another 5 hours+ on low) The skin turns out crispy and the meat is so moist!! Turkey breast can be expensive to buy, so I stock up when they go on sale !
