Our standby, baked chicken thighs, with broccoli/cauliflower and rice. Was going to buy potatoes today, but too expensive at Superstore, so rice it is!

I reached into the drawer for potatoes the other day and my fingers went right through one, ewwww!

I have a bunch of running around and errands to do this afternoon, so think I would like to try the Big Boss (KFC)

Last night I had an Asian steak and citrus salad and dh had crispy Thai chicken bites
We did a spur of the moment date night at Milestones. We then were comped a free Iberia chocolate cake with a caramel ice cream just because dh mentioned that the chicken bites were double the portion size when he was in Toronto last week on business

Tonight is the in laws for dinner

Tonight will be leftovers - roasted chicken pieces and potatoes, perogies. I'll make a big salad - mostly for me, but husband will have some if it's there...

We had homemade pizzas with caramalized and crispy onions, bacon, parm cheese, cremini mushrooms with a ricotta and fresh mozzarella cheese base instead of tomato sauce. It was served with a garden salad and Luxembourg dressing ( http://www.food.com/recipe/luxembour...-palate-419817 ) and homemade chocolate mouse and a small glass of a late harvest wine (like an ice wine only not as sweet).

For my dinner party on Saturday I ended up bringing a banana cheesecake from Loblaws. It was good but different, it was fresh and the crust was actually banana bread and then regular cheesecake filling & some sort of whipped cream on top..hmmmm..wanted to try it but prob wouldn't buy it again..the entire cake just tasted of bananas!! LOL

Yesterday was BBQ chops, baked potato, onions & mushrooms, beans and corn. Today will probably just be a grilled steak & salad.

Yesterday, well we treated ourselves because sirloin steaks were on sale at Safeway. So I did them, after marinating with a dry spice rub, on the grill pan - and I had made packet potatoes in the oven, along with a Caesar salad.
Yum it was awesome to have steak - first time since last summer!

Today I made southern bbq style chicken thighs in the oven, and that awesome sauce went over a concoction of potatoes and carrots. Hokey whoa, the house still smells absolutely fabulous all these hours later!
