Tonight I plan on Bbqing burgers (homemade and ready to just pull from the freezer) with salad and homefries and fresh cut up cucumber slices. My kids are hungry all the time so I'm starting to make sure there is tons of food. Will cook extra burgers and hopefully will be leftovers for my DS for lunch tomorrow. (he can use microwave at school)

^ so jealous, both of the temps and the beef!

Just put potato wedges to cook in the oven, will have with breaded pork bites, and I think I feel like buttery dilled carrots to go with that!

Hope you enjoy it, Mia! You can tinker with the recipe easily - using different spices, tomato sauce, etc.

Tonight is a minor smorg (uh, clear out leftovers!) - little bits of chili and pasta; pork and potatoes from yesterday; and I baked a ring of sausage so there's enough meat for husband.

    Spicy Korean Stir Fried Chicken
It's usually made with pork belly, but I switched it up to make it a little healthier.

It has been a week of leftovers for me:

Monday was leftover pizza, left over chicken poppers and left over roasted potatoes all tossed in the oven to make my own little dinner/appetizer plate
Tuesday was leftover Sheppard's Pie with leftover cheddar biscuits and roasted zucchini and mushrooms
Wednesday was just sausage on a bun with a few potato chips

Tonight off to the new up and coming hot spot restaurant for my sis's bday.

If I am ambitious, I am going to make home made sweet potato fries, baked pork chops, with carrots in butter and dill (thanks for the idea Natalka). I always have milk with my meals at home. I want to bake some goodies too, but dh and I have a meeting tonight.

I have to stop reading everyone else's dinners here! They are so delicious sounding.
Made a very large pot of chili. Used up lots of bell peppers, so it was lighter on the beef. Baked 2 batches of cookies for the gang
early this a.m. ( chick pea/peanut butter no flour ones, and a new one with coconut flour, almond butter, nuts and cranberries )

Angela-how do you get your sweet potato fries crispy-it seems if I brush them with oil and bake them they end up soft. Thanks LB

Puffed wheat squares are cooling in the kitchen. I teach this afternoon, so it will be a good snack to pack for work...not necessarily that healthy, but still good.
