O.K. , now let me see if I've got this right.
It appears to me , it seems that, from careful
observation that possibly, just maybe, ladies
    plan meals in advance.
I that correct, is that right?
Men, that is guys, open the fridge AT meal time.
Say, to themselves or others , if present,
"there's nothing to eat", and go out to find or beg for food.

Decided to have hot turkey sandwiches with homemade fries and some peas and Cranberry sauce! The turkey was leftover from God only knows when. I froze half a turkey in several freezer bags. Its time to start eating the turkey.

Fish & Brewis sounds a lot like cod fritters. My Jamaican friend makes cod fritters with salted cod soaked overnight in water and then broken up into pièces. She fries the cod pièces in flour, egg, salt, Pepper, chopped tomatoes and some other stuff. The cod fritters are delicious so i can imagine how Fish & Brewis is delicious! And the scruchions remind me of fried salted pork to pour over perogies!
