    Pouring rain and cool, so it's good to have the leftover chicken soup.
    Then we'll attack the meat - husband just eats it as is with bread, I'll make a sandwich and we'll have some raw cauliflower to eat with it.

    Here are some of the meals we have had this week. The twins are now one week old, and we could all use some more sleep.

    Fish sticks with hash browns and a glass of milk. Later we had fresh watermelon.
    BBQ chicken thighs with bbq potato pieces, fresh garden peas, and a few cherry tomatoes. LO and dh had popcorn.
    Tonight should be pork steaks with fresh corn on the cob, apple sauce, maybe a salad.

    Tonight we are having ribs, corn on the cob and salad. (He will probably make potatoes too I'm sure) Nice and sunny out too so a perfect night to have an ice cold beer and watch my honey bbq

    I have quite a bit of overgrown garden peas, from when I was on the hospital having the twins. I'm not sure how to use them up. I could dry them all and use them for next year's garden, but I'm sure some people might have suggestions for a meal. The only thing I can think of is pea soup, but I'm not a big fan. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

    My daughter is off to University in a few weeks and she is staying in an apartment style residence so we have had the pleasure of her cooking for us a little more often as she tests out new recipes she wants to make in the fall. Tonight she is making stuffed zuchinni (fingers crossed it works out! LOL)
