I freeze cream cheese all the time, with no problem at all. Have used it after for both sweet and savoury recipes, with no difficulties.

Thank you again Natalka! Saved me some time searching! Lunch is in the oven! We like the traditional tuna casserole so thought I would try this version.....
http://www.ehow.com/how_5384180_make...le-recipe.html - tuna casserole in in the oven with my alterations - doubled the recipe using egg noodles not spaghetti and added in some frozen peas to make a one dish meal! Cost me less than $5 to make it!
Will try the potatos and chicken too another day!

I have made a pasta sauce with it. I have done it with heating pesto or sundried tomatoes(in oil) and when it's hot I add the cream cheese in small cubes so it melts faster. After you cook your pasta you save a bit of the starchy cooking water and add a bit of that to loosen it up, then toss your pasta in in to coat and chow down!!!.
You could also use them to make chicken or beef enchiladas
Last night for us was those Healthy Choice Steamers since I have so many from the current sale Plus it was my first day back at the gym since getting hurt and I wasn't about to stuff myself. I have a hard enough time lifting my leg and walking as it is

well I didn't end up going to subway we had some microwaved mac'n'cheese dish...I wish we had an oven...I crave the weirdest things when I walk into the kitchen.
Also need to add the pickled red beets...I had before dinner...and then red pickled beets after dinner...Last edited by greentires4me; Mon, Jan 11th, 2010 at 12:53 AM.

greentires, I'm a pickled beets fan, too. Just had them the other day with beef stroganoff.
Tonight is honey-garlic chicken thighs, roasted potatoes, along with whatever veggies I can rustle up.

Last night was lemon and garlic roasted chicken with roasted veggies (carrots, spuds, celery, red pepper, onion, and lots of garlic!) and gravy.
Not sure yet about today...maybe some kind of casserole.http://superpoints.com/refer/hockeymomma
