Oh, I am, mcminsen - I haven't had lambchops for - holy smokes - 25 years....
Oops, that's just nuts! Mind you, same is true for lobster....
Sometimes I'll just have to ignore my budget and get them!

Last night we had a traditional Finnish Christmas dinner as the Finns celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve, so we ate ham, scallopped potatoes and turnip and for dessert rice pudding with stewed fruit soup on top. Hyvaa Joulua to all! (Merry Christmas in Finnish) Tonight is a traditional Canadian Christmas dinner with Turkey and all the fixings including my mother's wonderful sausage dressing made by my mother! YAY! Love Mom's cooking on Christmas! Merry Christmas everyone!

It seems that we are having lots of leftovers this week, lol. On Saturday we had a roast turkey. On Monday I made a turkey casserole with the leftovers. Yesterday I made a homemade cream of tomato soup and served it with the leftover casserole from the night before. Tonight I am making salmon patties and serving them with the leftover tomato soup. Tomorrow will most likely be vegetables and a salad served with the leftover salmon patties!
