I made some Octoberfest sausage with sauteed onions and mushrooms, boiled mini potatoes and steamed cabbage.

Ended up working late last night and Kitchen is a bit of a disaster as our faucet is leaking and flooded the cabinet under it (got a new one last night) so dinner needed to be simple so heated up some leftover pizza and made a Ranch Salad to go with it.

Tonight is a mystery at this point as we still need to install the faucet so again will probably need quick and easy

Cool weather so great for mac and cheese, ham and cheap cauliflower from No Frills. Apple turnover for dessert.

My son made tuna casserole under my direction, and that's what he and my husband had.
I tried, just couldn't eat it. This is NOT a diet; I can't find anything to eat... talked to the doc about it today, no answers....
Had 1/4 of a canned peach.

^ hope your appetite comes back soon!!! I've had a sore throat all week and food hasn't been high on the priority list either, nothing is very tempting...I'm feeling a lot better today but still no appetite..I was looking in the fridge and have a bunch of stuff to use, corn on the cobb, mango and sweet potato, etc so dinner will need to include at least those items...lol

I nearly messed up making my cauliflower pizzas this morning! I thought the ratio of cauliflower to Parmesan cheese was 2-1....but it was the other way around. That was close... glad I pulled out the recipe just before I got to mixing anything.
Then I checked on how much Parm I had on hand and was able to use just 6 c of the cauliflower already grated along with 12 c of cheese, but it made 7 pizzas so that was great.
Now I am going to make Sushi rolls, hash browns and rice pudding with the remaining 8 c of grated cauliflower.
Sometimes getting cauliflower so cheap ( .97 at NF this week ) makes you over buy! ha ha

Husband and son had tuna casserole.

I had about six mandarin orange pieces from a can.

Yes, I tried the casserole; son also made me an amazing bologna sandwich on a fresh ciabatta bun (which I would normally lurve!) - but ew, I had to spit it out.
I tried popcorn - which I normally could eat even when any other kind of sick - nope. Also tried cheezies, another fave - nope.
I lost 22 pounds in the last month; I do not recommend this way to lose weight!

I miss food. I miss tastes. I miss cooking, though I still have to make sure husband is getting nutritious meals as he continues his recovery from surgery.

I have been planning to make a nice Roast Beef dinner for 3 weeks now, the first weekend we had no beef broth, last weekend it just didn't happen we were too busy using up other unfrozen items so this week is the week.

I am making Roast Beef, Gravy, Mashed Potatoes, Cauliflower and maybe some carrots too we will see.
