..there's leftover chicken from yesterday & leftover chicken parm. pizza from Friday (made my own dough, turned out excellent and it was easy) I made a golden yellow cake mix and used 2 containers of Vanilla icing, it tastes like a gigantic vanilla 1/2 moon

Roasted Cornish hens and potatoes, acorn squash, stuffing and gravy. Blueberry muffins for dessert.

Grilled pork tenderloin, bok choy with ponzu sauce and mushroom rice.

Thai chicken with spinach and rice-choc cake for dessert.

Beef stew with herb dumplings. Old fashioned fare, husband is tres happy.

Simple spaghetti and 4 cheese sauce ... also had some leftover mozz cheeze from lasagna so I mixed that in with the spagh on the plate... damn that was good and creamy and gooey!! Salad on the side ... red wine to quench the thirst

Tonight's dinner is based on items I need to use up so Dinner will be Alfredo with Mixed Veggies in Pasta. The Alfredo sauce needs to be used up as just it is just past it expiry (by a couple days) and the veggies will be Zucchini (needs to be used up), Mushrooms and Peppers. I might add chicken I have not decided yet will see how I feel later in the day.

Tonight I will make rice and pasta and green beans and some corn.

Then they can choose the meat (roast beef, pork roast and burgers) I cooked all the meat last night.

I have chicken souvlaki to cook tonight too after dinner.

So tomorrow night will be all the leftovers.

We have ham and cheese and lots of pizza veggies so I think homemade pizza it will be.

Our twin boy is sick, so we order Chinese food for pick up last night. We will have Chinese leftovers tonight. War wonton soup, 2 egg rolls, mild ginger chicken, fried rice, stir fry beef and veggies.

Just for fun and because I got a coupon code(Basil45), I have ordered 3 Hello Fresh meals to be delivered to my door next Tues-well at least the ingredients and the recipes come and they can be cooked within a 1/2 hr. Thought I would give it a try-at their normal prices it would be way too expensive-I ordered Cajun Shrimp Tacos, Baked Chicken Parmesan with Crispy Potatoes and Garlicky Green beans and Vietnamese marinated steak strips with pickled veggies and jasmine rice. It is our anniversary next week so I thought lets try something different for a change. Definitely not as frugal as grocery shopping but I think less than takeout and definitely less than eating out. Hope we like the meals.
