Tonight were having friends over for dinner and I of course am sick so my mom will be cooking LOL
We are having a Serbian treat, its called Karadjordjeva which is veal rolled and stuffed with Serbian cream cheese then breaded Mmm it is sooo tastey and good!
With it we are having roasted potatoes and sweet potatoes, salad with cucumbers, tomatoes, red peppers and feta cheese and a dumpling soup.
For dessert my mom made a raspberry jam roll.

mmmmmm everyone's dinners sound so good tonight we will be having left overs so hear goes last night we had company and i had made

butter cauliflower soup with cheddar croutons
sauteed artichoke hearts with dill and the whole works
green salad with my special salad dressing i call it sev's sauce :D
thyme rice with sauteed onion and garlic
roast beef
my sister made the gravy cause she makes the best gravy in the world!!! (i can eat it on its own its that good)
spicy kofte
and strawberry cheesecake everyone thought i bought the cheesecake from some fancy place i was so proud when i said nope i made it and at the same time i was relived it tasted good cause i was up till 4:00am making it hehe
oh yea and my mom made this Afghan rice i don't know the real name of it but its a meal on its own its a dish i can eat all day long it has carrots, raisins, beef and some other stuff in it my moms the only one that knows how to make it in our family and everyone goes crazy for it

I experimented tonight and I think it turned our pretty good.

I cooked turkey breast, added chopped cellery and frozen snap peas. I made a citrus sauce with pinapple (chunks included). I had that with rice.

dawn, this happens to me, too - and even times I think I've made enough to have leftovers, sometimes it's so yummy it all gets eaten up anyway!

Last night I made pork meatballs and spaghetti with mushroom sauce for my son and me. Husband had leftover chicken and potatoes, with some spaghetti.
