Tonight is hockey night so we usually do a veggie burger and salad. I just ordered a brocoli almond crunch salad on Flashfood app for 50 cents to go with our dinner.
Tomorrow night will be homemade mac and cheese. I'm cooking up the noodles now so I can just whip it all together quickly and pop it into the oven right before dinner time tomorrow night.

Thought about Fajitas again but changed our minds to Homemade Burgers with Homemade Potato Wedges and German Cucumber Salad I made on the weekend.

i made beef samosas using leftovers: ground beef, 2 potatoes, some frozen peas, 1/2 an onion and curry powder. I cheated and used frozen store bought puff pastry.

I have a pot of homemade chicken soup simmiering on the stove right now. Sometimes you just crave comfort food and homemade chicken soup is comfort food for me. Its supposed to start raining sometime this afternoon. I also have some chicken legs that i bbq last night before the chinese food. Leftover rice and chow mein. So i guess it will be a hodge podge of whatever.

Decent amount of leftovers for us until Thursday, but, I suspect I'll have to cook something new up by Wed. ( late at night ).
A comfort soup sure sounds like it could hit the spot for us too SnowFlakey. All this damp weather has us crying out for some.

I've already floured, egged, crumb coated and baked up 6 thick lean centre cut pork chops. Brussel sprouts and a carb for sides ...not too sure which carb yet. This prep will make dinner a heat and serve event.

Okay WOB- I am holding you fully responsible for planting the idea of pork chops in my brain!! I was in Safeway and they had a pack of centre loin chops marked down as they expire today-less than $2.50 for 3. So I will cook them up along with the stuffed peppers and we will eat for 2-3 days. Which is actually a good thing because I am home today and work the next 2.
