2 cups tvp soaked in hot water for 5 mins.
Then added 1 cup rolled oats
3 egg whites (I know I know, Im trying to find something better, lol)
oregano, thyme, salt, pepper, soy sauce, ketchup, tomato sauce,Chopped garlic and jalapeno,1/4 cup unsweetened soy milk. Added all of these ingredients along with lightly sauted onions to the TVP and mixed with hands and formed into a loaf pan.
Covered with tin foil and placed in the oven for 45mins at 325..At the 43 min mark I took the tin foil off and put on broil for 2 mins.

I made a sauce to go with it consisting of: 1/2 a cup tomato sauce, tbsp soy sauce, 1/4 cup ketchup, tbsp chopped garlic, oregano, and thyme.

Wow, again, this thread makes me hungry! Chicken pot pie and beef stew, thanks to CB & sueshe will be in my near furture. Tonight, we had barbequed hamburgs - eventhough, it's still freezing out, the sun makes us think we have to be all outside and taking advantage of the longer days. Not so enjoyable when you still need gloves to BBQ Still was yummy though!

Wonton soup is on hold until tomorrow. Tonight I made chicken strips from scratch (chicken breast marinated in buttermilk and spices, coated in seasoned flour and deep fried), and then made wraps with the strips...ranch for the kids, spicy for me

I was going to ask you how it tasted! Because it sure looked good!!
I must have missed something, Cab...is there any particular reason you've chosen to eat vegetarian? Is this a recent decision? If it's none of my business just say so..
BTW...very nice kitchen counter and stuff!!!

Last night's supper was Mickey D's - the 1/2 price burgers; men had bacon and cheese, I had the deluxe - very big burger, it was a good thing I hadn't had lunch! Plus fries and later, an apple pie.
