It's nothing bad! I would love to be a pescatarian. It's so healthy! But I don't like fish much..
Definition of PESCATARIAN: one whose diet includes fish but no meat.

I've decided the week's meals will be meat pies ( using ground turkey this time) , Hungarian Goulash, fillets of Pollock maybe pan fried, and 2 whole chickens simmered for soup and dumplings. Many veg will be accompanying.
( Edited after 4:00 p.m. )
I am half way there!!
I decided to use some meat from the chickens for the 2 meat pies in front, ground turkey for the 3 in back.
Soup and dumplings done.Last edited by walkonby; Sat, Aug 6th, 2011 at 04:25 PM.

Sounds good as usual.
Tonight I am going to make veggie burgers topped with homemade tomato pesto.
Tomato pesto, (I just throw everything together and don't really measure sorry, lol)
Olive oil
Grape tomatoes
parm cheese (not veggie I know)
Cajun pistachios
Roasted red peppers (from a jar, lol)
Salt and pepper
Mixed altogether in the magic bullet.

Last night was one of those "cr@p it's 15 min till DH gets home and I have nothing prepared cause I have been working in the yard ALL DAY and I am exhausted" dinners so it was McCain cubed hashbrowns (the ones with peppers and other veggies), a poahed egg and Red Baron frozen pizza with a side of homade colslaw made form the cabbage from MIL's garden and Kraft Sesame dressing.
Talk about miss mash huh?

the last 2 nites i've been doing dinner for one, just putting together whatever is in the fridge that is quick and easy because after a whole day of fasting the last thing you want is to be slaving over dinner. it's been dinner for one cause hubby hasn't been home
yesterday was a south asian "fruit chaat". well, just bananas and chick peas with spices and a little juice concentrate. i can't eat most fruits anymore cause of oral allergies. bah! then 2 chicken quesadillas. and for desert ben and jerry's cookie dough ice cream.
had a nice bug mug of coffee after dinner sitting out on the balcony by candlelight in the cool night air.In 2020 I had 100 FREE Grocery pickups! Subscribe to PC Optimum Insiders & get 25,000 PC Optimum pts

Most of the above meals sound amazing!
Hm.... I haven't been able to really 'cook' much this last week since I can't stand for long...
Tonight was deli pizzas from Sobey's ($6 each for 12") - Supreme was okay (son loved it, lots of toppings); but my fave was the cheeseburger one - totally loaded with meat and cheese, really yummy crust, sauce a bit spicy, but it was great!
