Pierogies and broccoli and carrots. I bought the spinach and feta kind to try something different. We usually just have potato and cheddar.
Amazon and Starbucks GiftCards for Searching the net? Yes I did and so can you!

♥♥♥ donairs! I first thought they were east Indian because the first time I had them was in a corner store in Calgary from a tiny little old east Indian woman. I can still remember how delicious they were and later found out she was making them Canada east-coast style. Have had some okay ones since, but am still looking for a great tasting donair here in BC. What's the name of the place you go to?

Nothing like an east coast donair. My fiance's aunt lives in Guelph and drives to Burlington (I think) to go to a place called "Halifax Donair" to get the more authentic donairs like back here.
As for the best one I've found in Halifax (limited experience cause I loved the first couple places and didn't branch out) - Fairview Pizza has the best in my experience.
Don't buy the packaged ones at the grocery store - the sauce never tastes right, and the meat is only okay.
As for my dinner, who knows... my fiance is on cooking duty - so it might just be donair :-P

Donair lovers - Rejoice!!
I found what appears to be an authentic Donair recipe. If you are not into the "throw down" method for the meat, check the reviews for using a food processor or Kitchen Aid.

Seems simple enough. I'm going to try it sometime soon.
