My tummy has been on the fritz lately, but we've been eating delicious stuff.
Saturday: dinner out for fish n' chips (we are on a mission to find a really good fish and chip spot in Ottawa - all our favourite spots are several hundred km out of town)
Sunday: Venison burgers and roasted asparagus on the bbq
Tonight: I am thinking beans. IDK what to do with them yet, I just have a hankering for beans and something vegan to offset all that meat... maybe baked beans with cornbread topping mmmmmm, cornbread *drools* If I don't have beans in the freezer, I'll be doing something with eggs, and probably making cornbread anyways as it's now the food craving equivalent of an earworm

Not to speak for missxhillary, but I cut the ribs into 1 rib pieces, boil them for 1 hour with 1 beer or ginger ale (makes them really tender), salt, garlic powder, and sometimes a cut onion.
Then my husband the bbq pro puts them on the grill and bastes them as he grills them and they are sooo yummy and fall off the bone!

Brown rice, steamed broccoli and 'tofu butter chicken', used a Patak's pre-made sauce. Dry fried the tofu so it's not super mushy (don't like the texture of it).
Two extra servings packed away for lunches :D
