Hello everyone....I hope this finds you all well & delightful,
I could complain about the food here; but that would be spiteful,
They say I'll be here for about 3 more weeks,
I am still determined, though sometimes I think my body creaks,
Not much to report, except I shall get there one day,
& be back with you all in my Loocie style & way,
Soon they will serve dinner & I will lift the lid,
& if I tried selling it on Ebay I wouldn't garner one single bid,
Lucky for me I have a friend who brought me chicken on a bun,
& a spinach salad to spice up my fun,
Stay well my friends & just know that I am thinking of you,
Cause we must stay Smart Canucks who are tried & true.

Had dinner with my grandmother at a Chinese restaurant!
Here are just some of the dishes- 4 out of 6 not including soup and dessert.
So much food!!
Baby bok choi with enoki mushrooms and sauce
Super yummy sweet and sour pork with peppers, onions and pineapple chunks
Fried green beans with beef in a black bean and garlic sauce
Steamed chicken, eaten with a savory chopped green onion and garlic oil.

Oh, yummers to it all, Janetta!
I made a ground beef with roasted garlic and musrooms sauce, served over pasta with corn and carrots, along with a Caesar salad.

My best friend took me out for dinner for my birthday tonight at our favourite restaurant and I had their amazing gnocchi! I love it! It's made in house there and it is fabulous! I also had a couple caramel apple martinis, which also helped make the evening a little more exciting :p. I love dinners I don't have to clean up after

janetta,
How the heck do you get such nice pictures in a restaurant setting? That whole meal is drool-worthy.
