Last night we had Raclette. Hubby cut up a pile of veggies (onions, 3 colours of peppers, zucchini, mushrooms, broccoli) and chicken breast and some filet mignon and i bought those Jazz potatoes that you microwave. Also had sliced baguette bread. I bought some Raclette cheese (man that stuff is expensive). what we did was stir fry the vegies and the meat on the top layer of the Raclette and melted the cheese in the bottom trays and them poured the cheese over everything! We did the same with the baguettes. It was super delicious! Only thing was, those Jazz potatos had some sort of seasoning that you put on them and that seasoning must have had MSG and it gave me a stuffed and runny nose for awhile. Tonight for dinner i will make a stir fry with the vegies that are left and probably have mild Italian sausages.

Last night's supper was a delicious experiment.
One dish in the oven had marinated chicken pieces in a pineapple sauce. Another dish in the oven had fresh mushrooms cut in half, thinly sliced red onion, balsamic vinegar and a little butter. Had all that with boiled egg noodles and a glass of milk. A friend stopped by and hadn't had supper yet, so I fed him too.Help me out with Swagbucks and we can both earn gift cards and PayPal money

Ah, last night was the best and healthiest supper we've had in a week! It was just me and my husband, we got a rotisserie chicken from Sobeys, potato salad, and he picked me up a huge garden salad (which will last three meals for me!), and fresh bread!
Only complaint from me about the chicken - it's a different Sobeys location than where we usually got them, closer to our new place, and the seasoning was quite spicy - so, drat, I had to give my husband the breast skin... but the meat was juicy moist!
We found the slowcooker! So I'm actually cooking today's supper (kitchen stuff is in boxes still, can use microwave but that's is, stove is blocked by stuff).
It's just going to be simple - I'll cut up M&M Meats teriyaki steak (that makes me sad because it's my fave when cooked as is, but the only meat I have), put in potatoes, onions, garlic, cabbage, tomato - and any frozen veggies that are in the freezer part of the fridge - for seasoning, I just have salt and pepper out - oh, but maybe some condiments in the fridge I can use! Heck, even as it is, it will be good!

No idea what to make for dinner tonight. I had an allergic reaction from last night`s dinner. Probably the Jazz potatoes seasoning spice! I had a mild reaction after the raclette but i didnt know what it could have been. I have a mild allergy to MSG (and im really careful) but this was really bad. Im still feeling the after-affects. Probably will have some homemade chicken soup with some noodles and grilled cheese sandwiches. Im totally out of it. I feel like a zombie.

My criteria for a woman when I get married:
1 - She has to have teeth
2 - Likes to cook
3 - Good at cooking
4 - Looks hot in an apron
5 - Gets excited surprising me with what she cooks
6 - Never asks me what I want for diner
7 - Uses coupons to buy groceries before she cooks.
OK I am the worst man ever!
Diner tonight: Roast beef again with mashed potatoes (unless I screw that up then normal potatoes) and green beans.

Sheesh, I would do anything to have a can of mushroom soup or something saucy to add to the aforementioned slowcooker meal - it's gonna be boring, I couldn't find anything else to add to it!

Ok the first one made me laugh but the rest are not unreasonable. Maybe I am old fashion (well not really, more like not at all), but I would like to find a man who values my cooking, I mean come on seriously I love to find new recipes have a stockpile to feed 6 for months and guys are like I never eat lunch and sometimes I do and sometimes I don't eat dinner. Come on really seriously if a good romantic dinner will not make you happy what is a girl to do.

I just finished freezing 30 hamburger patties and have enough leftover fro some killer pasta sauce to make my lasagne with . Since we had Indian on Saturday and Sunday night and the business meeting we went to catered Indian I think I'll pass on that for a while . I marinated some BLSL chick thighs in sambal olek, garlic, soy sauce, lea & perrings, honey and S&P and I will grill it and make a kinda gyro in the leftover nann bread with some fresh shredded lettuce, Parsi rice, and the raita leftovers
