Tonight it is homemade breaded and baked chicken fingers with oven fries... to be served with homemade plum sauce of course! I have been craving a pie for forever... I should make one soon!

I wish I had a pannini machine! I love kitchen gadgets, and that is something I think I'd use.

I made some meatballs tonight, for another day. I had ground turkey in the fridge, my cousin told me this recipe so I tried it out for later this week: http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Cocktai...7=Recipe%20Hub

Monday we had lasagne hamburger helper.
Tuesday we had pasta with a mushroom sauce (chicken breast, roast ham, mushroom soup, canned mushrooms, garlic powder, an onion, milk, and Worcestershire sauce)
Tonight we are having a delux salad (hard boiled eggs, roast ham, chicken breast, marble cheese, grated carrot, romaine lettuce, cucumber, tomato, and green onion).

I have most meals with a glass of milk.

Its funny how it can turn a plain ol boring sandwich into something gourmet! Nothing beats the gooey warm cheese and crusty bread! We got ours as a Christmas gift last year, but I have seen them on sale at RCSS for as low as 40 bucks.

Last night, leftover chicken soup and I made creamed chicken to serve with potato and bacon perogies.
However, I was the only one to eat the main meal - husband just had soup, then the chicken carcass bits.
So whatever is left, we'll have tonight.

Kinda cold outside today; time for comfort food. im making beef stew with carrots, onions, celery, potatoes and turnips and ill throw in some chopped garlic (i put garlic in just about everything during winter months to ward off colds). Also will have a baguette with that. Dessert will be pineapple sundaes. (got the canned pineapple with the 50 cents off coupon from a couple of weeks ago, paid 50 cents a can)
