I had a spinach and ricotta calzone for dinner last night.
Tonight who knows thought I was alone for dinner but turns out mom will be home so hopefully she makes something before I get home from work2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

I bought $2/lb chicken thighs at Sobeys. I'll back some of those with bbq sauce. I'll bake spaghetti squash because I was surprised to find that some of my garden harvest is already trying to go bad. I can't find the recipe for it, but I'm going to thinly slice some garden potatoes nearly all the way threw...put a little oil and spices on it and bake until crispy like potato chips. I'll boil some carrots too. We always have milk with supper.
If I am ambitious I will make something sweet for desert.
Dh had a very sore throat this morning along with a hoarse voice. I'm hoping that he is feeling a bit better when he gets home from work.
edit: Changed supper slightly. Instead of cooked carrots, I made a small veggie plate with carrot sticks, cauliflower and home made creamy lemon dill dip.Last edited by Angela273; Thu, Oct 24th, 2013 at 09:30 PM.

Last night was pizza, I give up on this cooking at home thing. Mom was home all day didn't cook yet because I didn't tell her what I wanted. Where is when she is working and I have to work all day I manage to cook. Funny I am called the picky eater but I can always pull something together where is with her almost everything I said she made a face too so I gave up and gave into ordering pizza.

New recipe again! I mixed this up yesterday and applied to chicken thighs, baked in the oven tonight. Very good, will make it again! Although if DS finds out there's mustard in it, he will declare it 'disgusting.'
