Yesterday evening I cooked a beef roast with all the trimmings, etc and the gravy turned out excellent. I have enough leftovers for today so hot roast beef sandwiches for dinner today, maybe open face with stove top and mashed potatoes on the side.

Saturday night we bbq'd steak (free from Shoppers redemption in summer) with baked potatoes, asparagus and corn. Was so yummy!
Last night we had roasted chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy with cauliflower. Yum again!

When your family turns their nose up at the suggestion of a stir fry; proceed to plan B,
I'm still making a mini stir fry, but all of it is for me!
My other half has a nickname & sometimes I call him Freddie,
Wait until he finds out that he is getting Alpha-Getti...
The silent treat as a side order to remind him that I am ticked,
I have lots of veggies already chopped...why must he contradict?
Meanwhile back at the ranch Loocie is going to ginger it up for added zing,
I will sizzle with my wok & I'll probably cook & sing!!

I was given rice crackers, but don't know what to do with them. What do you do with rice crackers? How do you cook with them? Any recipe ideas?

We just used them as regular crackers - with cheese on top, to scoop guacamole. Son liked them, I really didn't - I find them too hard. They were Compliments brand.
Last night for supper, I braved food and had a baked potato with a smidgen of salad. Son and husband had the potatoes and bbq pork.
Today, I'm making chicken soup, so that's what's for supper!

Last night I made paninis in our panini machine - smoked turkey, gouda cheese and roasted red pepper spread in a whole wheat tortilla. Also had a green leaf salad with cucs and tomatoe and sunflower seeds.
Tonight is spaghetti in a tomatoe sauce, with homemade cheddar and garlic biscuits and grilled zucchini

Burned BBQ roast beef on a round plate (not square). Want a balanced diet? Stand on one leg while eating!
