I just put a 2lb pork roast in the oven. I also put a whole sweet potato on a rack to cook. I'll add some regular potatoes after this stuff has had a head start. I'll add carrots and an onion to the roast later on. I think that's it. With a glass of milk, of course.
edit: I ate mine with apple sauce.

I'd better get back to studying for my university final exam. The exam is one week away. Almost done the course and then I'll have "free time" on my hands.

Husband's birthday dinner, so ordered takeout from a fancy gastropub (had a gift card, which ended up covering almost half of it). The three of us had NY strip sandwiches, with steak fries and a buncha awesome veggies; appies were Philadelphia cheesesteak springrolls with an awesome sauce and spicy/sweet jumbo prawns (way too spicy for me, but were bearable, had to eat some they were so good!) with an awesome sauce. The steaks were fab, and both appies were amazing.
However, would never have paid full price for these!

None of us had room for birthday cheesecake! Sent son home with some, and we'll have our tomorrow!

Not sure the plan for tonight yet. Something simple so I can tackle laundry and finish finally! Maybe pull bacon and hashbrowns from freezer and make eggs and toast.

Tonight is leftovers, I really don't feel like cooking anyway..lol..instead of my stir fry I ended up using the same ingredients and added ground beef and made pasta instead (using fusilli noodles) and lots of freshly grated parm. cheese. It was really good; and there are a lot of leftovers, so will have that with some garlic bread.

Tonight I am making a family favorite-Honey Corriander chicken wings with a recipe from a Disney website. They are almost spot on to the ones served at Ohana's restaurant in Disney World except there someone else makes them so of course they taste much better!

Tonight was, "I didn't plan very well so let's see what's already cooked in the freezer" night. Found two homemade echiladas, a few breaded fish pieces and some M&M assorted snacks. Not at all nutritious, but filled us up!

chili was a no go, made a GF lasagna instead and layered with spinach, fresh basil leaves and mushrooms. Wanted to go dairy free but used Mozzarella sparingly. This one won't last which is good, and then bad for the cook.

I hear ya. I hate when the food doesn't last. My DH is wonderful in that he does laundry, puts away dishes, many other household chores that I don't like. We really are a team in the household; in reality, he probably does more than i do.

But he does not cook. I guess he probably could if I pushed, this mostly works. But there's some days, I wish someone would fix supper for me that wasn't takeout and I didn't have to do it!

A light supper tonight after all that decadence yesterday! Tomato veggie pasta soup, with assorted sandwiches.
