I did up some polenta last night, so I am hoping between the other leftovers ( chicken Parm, wings and meat pie ) in the fridge the guys will take a mix and match dinner in with them for work.

..really wanted to BBQ a steak today..but too windy and cold..don't mind the cold but the BBQ won't stay lit with all the wind..lol...so instead it's Chicken Parmesan Pizza...fry up ground chicken, with onions, garlic and mushrooms...add basil, tomato sauce...lots of parm. cheese...spread over a pizza crust, top with shredded kraft Italiano...I don't have much on hand so will mix with shredded mozzarella..bake in the oven at 375 deg for approx 20 mins or until golden and bubbly...

^LOL, Zonny - my son had contacted me earlier this week - he thought something was very wrong, then he remembered he ate MANY red velvet muffins!
Husband stayed after work to work on the van, so for supper I had two eggs over easy on sauteed leftover potato chunks, along with a bun.
He'll have the leftover casserole from yesterday, along with the potatoes, and I'll make him some eggs to go with it.

First night home for dinner after a week of hotel living and although I will miss just being handed a menu and getting to choose not I have to decided what I am going to make and well I cannot decide, so many options. Do I want Meatloaf, Chicken with Rice and Mushroom Soup, maybe some pasta, or maybe lasagna soup. Oh too many choices will have to update later with what I finally decided on.

Tonight is dh's work Christmas party, the company pays for nothing. We booked our babysitter a month ago and I hope she has a good night with our LO, even though he has a cold. Dh's co-workers wanted to hire a limo and go bar hopping into the country side, so that's what they did. We are having supper at 5:00 at Eddie's Bar and Grill, then the limo will pick us all up for the evening. I don't drink, so I'm hoping that some of the bars have Karaoke because I enjoy singing.

Happy Birthday Crochetlady!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well tonight is the first of 5 Christmas Turkey Suppers that we will be attending! Tonight it is the Anglican Church putting on the turkey supper (no charge, donation only). We are a small tight knit English community here and we all attend each others turkey suppers. Next Saturday is the Légions Christmas turkey supper and Santa will be on hand ($25 pp). On Dec 15 is another turkey supper (free for members). On Dec 20th is the local Baptist Church holding the supper (free also) and then on Dec 23rd the local community center is having one ($6.50)
By the time Christmas rolls around, i will be turkeyed out!
