...going to the cabin tonight, then going to Mardi Gras tomorrow night and having surgery next week (nothing too serious) so I'll be MIA for a few days..haven't decided what we'll have at the cabin, as soon as I get a coffee down and shake off last night I'm going to raid the fridge and pack the cooler
(I might even sneak in some Halloween treats ...shhhh) I won't be home for Halloween this year but I've already given treat bags to the kids that live close by and will leave the rest with my uncle to give out...I hope everyone has a spooky Halloween !! I have purple wings with sparkles to wear to Mardi Gras but they're big and will whack everyone so will have to come up with another idea

Our son's birthday today, so we had takeout - orzo soup, cutlets with gravy, fries, corn.
We are all very full, so birthday cheesecake I made will be had much later....

Last night I had leftover Chicken in Mushroom Soup over Rice
Tonight thinking maybe some Swiss Chalet, I have been eyeing up their Quarter Chicken with an appetizer or dessert special and I have some gift cards I can use. We will see depends how late we are out.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

We were meant to have a pork roast dinner, but the pork roast was full of that gelatinous stuff. It went right back to the grocery store.
Luckily we still had leftovers from taco night.

Tonight I am going to try a new to me potato-pea, green bean vegetarian curry recipe. Will serve with naan and a Greek salad with feta cheese.

Back ribs are roasting in the oven - sauce is of an unknown name - started with a base of teriyaki, then I added way more garlic, some horseradish, some tomato sauce, seasoning salt, some corn syrup to carmalize...
We'll have mashed potatoes with sauteed mushrooms over top, Waldorf salad, and mixed veggies.
