ha ha ...I am the nutbar on the SNL skit called" nailed it . Many of my baking projects turn out funny and then we all have a laugh. Right now I am " in the zone "....made many mini muffins today, just baking the last 48 of them.

stew is a fav. of ours as well, then I instantly want to dump some into Tenderflake ready made pie crusts, easy meat pies! how spoiled!

well the bathroom reno is coming slowly along. DS passed his last and final road test ( graduated licensing ) on Monday and his rotten luck that we got our first really good dump of snow on the Sunday prior to his test. Poor guy, I was nervous for him. I made a killer ( lots of layers ) lasagna in a long slender bread loaf pan and it has been portioned up into 3 take out containers ( all wrapped and in the freezer ) for parting gifts on Xmas Day.
2 of them go to our kids and the 3rd to my sister.
The 12 Maple Pecan Bacon Bourbon Butter Tarts are baked and also vacuum sealed in the freezer. This bacon kick I am on is nuts! lol

your stir fry sounded great! Whenever I've used any frozen veg in one I have to thaw them first and squeeze out the excess moisture from them ( paper towel style ). We're shamelessly eating one of the Metro family deals tonight ( whole roasted mammoth chicken, slab of ribs, 2 side salads and a large box of wedges for $20.00 !)

lol!! I have that same Muffin cook cook ( soft cover spiral type ) We've made cornbread before so muffins were not a stretch, I hope SnowFlakey tries to make a batch.

thanks for the comments about our new freezer! I feel like a kid! The last chest freezer we bought was in 1985 ( a bit larger @ 5.5 cubic feet than this new one is at 3.5 cubic feet ) and I feel horrible that the old one still works....I'm just tired of it...lol.
