We were in Aruba , two or three years back on a south Caribbean cruise, all former British colonies
so they drove on the left on each island , Barbados, Grenada , Aruba , ST. Lucie one other I can't remember,
We were only on each island for part of day so didn't get to see a whole lot but do remember Aruba was expensive...Consider a cruise next time,,,lots to do many different islands to see...Kinda like a sampler.
Many discount to be had if you do your inter-net research...Good site is Cruises Only. com

I use a site called www.vrbo.com for condos. It is kinda like a global posting system for condo owners. You can save a ton of money however I will warn you that you are dealing directly with the owner rather than an agency so keep that in mind. I have been booking thru this site for a few years with no problems for Hawaii condos. Also, do you know about flying out of Buffalo? you can get some terrific bargains and the taxes are sooo much cheaper. Our family of 4 usually saves about $600 in taxes alone. Also, you can use tools like the kayak fare checker at www.kayak.com to compare for the best rate or I also like the one on travelocity-anyway, sorry if you know all this already, I love travelling and always get a little carried away!Enjoy your day and good luck with the Aruba trip!

Thanks for the info on Woofstock. I had never heard about it before! As for lawn bowling, I thought when you had mentioned it that it was for older people and wondered. Growing up in Montreal I saw many places that had regular lawn bowling, but again it always seems like the folks playing were 65+.

We just got back a little while ago. Everyone insisted on saying hi to the brave kitty amongst all the doggies! We left when the rain started to come down hard (someone was not impressed). My arms are killing me, cause a certain someone insisted on being carried like a baby. At this point, I think we're staying home for the rest of the day (it's still raining here). Hope you have fun!

lol I never heard of Woofstock.... how cute! I looked at the name a couple of times thinking you meant Woodstock and then I thought a bit far for dog food.
As for the names I know some are legit maybe all... I didn't bother to check, not that important! No rain here yet. Lat night we went to see Sex The City! I love the show and have all the episodes and the 1st movie on CD. I both the packages. My daughter and her bf went to see Karate Kid II. They loved it! Presently, am awaiting the arrival of the man who will be redoing my front walkway, front porch and steps and also framing in the garden in stone.... We will be designing the layout and stuff. I really enjoy it! I will see you after!

I'm meeting up with an SCer at 10am, but I can always go home for a bit & let the brat have a nap, then go back & meet you later in the afternoon. It's not too far from me. Just tell me when & where.

smiling, yes a certain amount of the budget goes to the garden, and all the wonderful creatures that inhabit the backyard....from birds, to rabbits, to squirrels and chippies....I love it...there are about 6 chippies here now.. just back out side to sit down, I swear Charlie ( yes they are all named) heard the door because he's on the back deck in a shot.... and I do provide food year round, esp for those who choose not to go south or hibernate....

I like to go there before all the crowds come, so I`ll be there at 10am. If it`s raining, both of us will be in our red raincoats (I swear I didn`t do that to coordinate our outfits! ).

That's so great though!!! Its one of those things you can look back at and talk about. A neat experience for sure. Glad you had a good time there, you look really great!

I took Lily one yr, but she was too scared by all the dogs, the silly coward. I took Quincy last yr & he was the talk of the town, so he's going again (now he's back to normal). Fortunately I didn't WITNESS it happen, I saw him on the ground, get up, covered in blood, people assist him to lie back down and wait for emergency services. There were enough people without me adding to the crowd. It seemed like a long time for emergency services to arrive though (I had passed them on my way by). It was the closest I've ever come to death by accident. Still disturbing.

I am with you and I think these things too but them try to clear my mind so that I am not troubled by it.
Regarding negative people, there is more than enough out there in the world, and some of our members have real challenges too and hardly ever complain. they just want support from friends.
