Sorry I did not reply sooner, I was trying to form my thoughts.

Autism ruined my marriage. I had to be a different mother to be successful, and my kids dad was not able to be a different father. Everything fell apart. It is so hard doing it alone, but everyday does get better. I hope you and your husband are on the same page and have each other for support...it is so important to be able to preserve that.
i hope you don't mind me asking, but how old are your children? Mine are 6 and 9. My 6yo is just finishing IBI, graduating with flying colours

birthdays and holidays do get better. I celebrate the small stuff, and do not sweat the big stuff....oh and I stopped caring about what other people think of me or say to me, because they really have no clue lol

Aw, I'm so sorry to hear that....is there someone near you who can give you some time alone with your hubby? A little while to just get away, even if it's out to a movie? I was a care-giver to my Mom when she lived with us and eventually needed care 24/7, so I know how draining it can be. Is there help from an agency that can give you respite care? Hubby and I had a caregiver over to help Mom with her shower every morning for about an hour and omg....coffee...alone....what a luxury! And 4 hours of respite every Thursday...boy, those were lights at the end of my tunnel!
